You forgot to point out that in every movie the stormtroopers never shoot to kill. They only shoot precise warning shots. They always hit near the target to show that they are expert marksmen that are able to shoot extremely close to the target without hitting the target every single time.

This is something that was discussed way after the release of the original three films. And it wasn’t even confirmed. Literally everybody knows the troopers suck with their aim. Characters have said it before. It’s a theory that they never shot to kill, which again was never brought up until recently.
