Agree on Kirby. My first impression (before playing): it looked “cutesy”, as if aimed at only children. But after playing, I realized I was wrong. It’s definitely cute, but also a whole lot of fun. (And I haven’t been a child in ~60’ish years. Great game.

Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal aren't available for the Switch, but you should still play P5R before you play Strikers. Strikers is a pretty direct sequel that takes place after the events of Persona 5

Also, I do not recommend playing either Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal. They’re obnoxious, the story is predictable. It is a visual novel with rpg tacked on. Ridiculously long and very little pay off narratively. Gameplay not balanced. And many narrative consistency and tonal consistency issues.

Persona 5 strikers is a sequel to persona 5 not persona 5 Royal. You should play the first game to true ending to understand the 2nd game better. It does talk about some things in the first game.

Persona 5 strikers is one of my favorite switch games. I really liked how they simplified the fusion aspects from the original. After beating it, I still scratch to play it over.

Your channel is just awesome Ircha! I think kirby and the forgotten land is awesome! Great coop-experience with great replayvalue because it is pretty much to collect after story. It is a very easy game but the challenge is in finding all the well hidden waddle dees in the game.

Ohhh I'm happy your back ^^ maglam Lord is a good playthrough for the story and their choices. Had me laughing at times and the voice acting isnt so bad. I kinda ignored my town in rf5 so I'm slowly winning their love back with dungeon drops. Also happy cinco de mayo!

With Persona 5 Strikers boot screen (the hat on the bottom right aka loading) you can easily see the green tint on every Switch OLED. :) The screen should be 100% dark, but I'm pretty sure you will see green spots, because it's some light gradient of gray.

I got Kirby and the forgotten land as soon as it came out. I thought it was a great game, pretty short but very fun. I'd recommend it to both adults and kids

I'm actually around 20 hours or so into P5 Strikers (no spoilers don't worry), and loving it so far! It really does feel like a proper sequel to the mainline game, and the combat is so addicting taking elements from the turn-based game and making them work in a muso style game, honestly, it's just great fun, plus there's so much interaction with the characters, it's really worth spending your sweet time with it, and at the same time it feels like you don't need to have played the original to get everything in this game because the game calls out past event's and fills you in. But that's just my two cents. :) Hope you enjoy it.

I also bought Persona 5 Strikers a few days ago on sale! If you haven't played Persona 5 I would recommend playing that first though as Strikers is a direct sequel. Combat in P5 is basically the same as SMTV, but it has a lot more story and time management/life sim aspects to it. I don't have a PlayStation, so I watched a Let's Play of it and that's actually what made me want to get Strikers even though I haven't enjoyed the Warriors games I've tried in the past.

Maglam Lord is fun, I have the Switch version (which has some performance issues, especially during battles, but they never bothered me). I like the characters, graphics and music. IMO, there's a lot of production value in this game.

Now you make me want to play Persona Strikers and I have resisted thus far ;-) I played several hours of Grow Song of the Evertree. I find it addicting, but I'm often confused as to what I'm supposed to do, or why I need two or three of the same shop in such a small village. Also, I agree, the new Kirby game can only please every child out there. I've been playing coop with my daughter and she loves it.

SMT/Persona is a VERY complex franchise, the easiest way to sum it up for a newer fan is to think of it closer to the Final Fantasy franchise in that while most of the games share certain elements they're usually within they're own seperate stand alone universes. That said, P5 Strikers is a direct sequel to P5 if you haven't played that one yet.

Serpent Rogue does look cool. You play as a plague doctor. Looks like a farming sim where you make potions/medicines etc. It's got a darker vibe to it. I hope it gets a physical release.

Kirby is a fun little adventure, so glad it didnt disappoint! I honestly thought I was the only person onthis planet that felt that way about Tales of Arise. I got it on XBOX and the game keeps crashing after 2 hours where I need to completely exit and reload. I dont think im vibing with the story and characters yet so I will have to give it another chance but it is surprising because Tales of Beseria is one of my favourite games ever!

please, you MUST PLAY PERSONA 5 ROYAL!!!!!!! I know, a bit dramatic, but it's literally one of three best games I've ever played (the other too are Skyrim and Breath of the wild). I believe a 100% you'll love it, it's a JRPG after all, the universe and the characters and the storyyy are amazing, and plus, it's always on sale on the ps store! Also, it has the best turn based combat I've ever experienced, sooo... did I convince you yet? It's just incredible.

Love all of the persona and shin megami tensei series. Persona 5 strikers is a sequel to the main persona 5 game and in my opinion you are better to play persona 5 or persona 5 Royal first, as it has continuation of the story. I played Maglam lord on the switch, I liked the story telling, and some parts were pretty funny, but I found huge performance issues in battle, especially boss fights. If you can get used to that I think you might like it, I really struggled with it. I hope you like it! I am playing 13 sentinels, it’s a good game, I like the story and I find it interesting so far. I have also started rune factory 5, thank you for the recommendation, I am only a few hours into the game. Also looking forward to xenoblade 3, soul hackers 2 ( also in the shin megami tensei universe - will not be available on switch, but I will be playing on my PlayStation) and the new fire emblem warriors. Thank you, now grand blue fantasy relink is something I will add to my list of games I want to play. My backlog of games I want to play is so long 😅
