I booked my partial profits in irctc last week. I may not be that knowledgable in markets and i am still learning, but I figured out 2 things for irctc - first it was highly overbought and valuations were too high. Second, MFs have cut down their percentages in it. I am happy my analysis is correct. I still have few irctc and i'll continue to hold i think the future is bright for irctc.

Tata power may have biggest market share in EV charging infrastructure in future. They have deal with tata motors, MG motors, HPCL, IOL, Lodha, TVS, Central Railway and many more to come. Their are millions of diesel pumps that will be replaced by solar power pump. India is on equator that's boon for this company. Solar roof top is another thing. PM already talked about 450GW renewable target. Tata power will have majority share along with reliance and adani. TP renewable IPO is next big thing. Many FII are ready with their money to put it in Tata power renewables. And looking at their ambitious plan TP renewable should be valued at 1lakh crore market cap. TP market cap right now is half of that. So if you trust Tata, Chandrashekaran, praveer sinha and other management team then this is best time to buy for next 5-10years. Same for tata motors. Remember this company is now lead by the one who made TCS success. Tata motors and Tata power and other tata companies are going to play very important role in India's development and prosperity.

When IRCTC was continuously increasing nobody complain , but once it falled everybody starts blaming to operators Who is operators : they are cartel of people who do trading in group So those retailers who bought stock in 1600 they could sell it near 5000 or 5500 or 5800 to 6200 , they got enough time to book profits in these levels But retailers became more and more greedy and try to hold stock And now stock fall and they start blaming operators This stock increased 300% in less than 1 year and fall just 10 to 20% and everybody starts blame to operators

Areyy these type of uncertainties which you've mentioned are present in every stock sometimes called Market risk. Toh uske wajah se hum irctc chor denge, aisa toh nhi kr sakte naa...Ho toh kuch bhi sakta hai life me but thats not LIFE teaches us. This is a good opportunity to buy irctc maybe @4750-5000 level. You are neither taking aggressive nor conservative viewpoint but only BIASED view. FII and DII have sold this stock because of covid situation not because of any fundamental reasons (Bhai IMT-G ka naam dubaya hai tumne) And yes, Jab tum Reliance ke baare me bolte ho tab toh sab kuch maaf (no govt regulations and shitt). @@pratyush4284 it's true that firms care about the qualifications while hiring initially but they would also be quick to get rid of people who despite having the qualifications justify purchasing a security by making up stories to just jump on the bandwagon some way or another instead of realising the unique risks a government company has as compared to private ones (like in the case of IRCTC). They also don't have a liking for people who talk in a very disrespectful manner I'd imagine.

One very important point here - While IRCTC is a monopoly, being a PSU, it doesnt have a pricing advantage. It will follow a cost plus model and not leverage the monopoly advantage. Thus, its valuation is completely unjustified.

Sir, you were not convinced with the price of IRCTC of 1200, then 1600, 1800 and so on, people made handsome gains from there, it depends which side you choose. Also, 100 PE is of many stocks now, new listings, chemicals, platforms and even many old great FMCG companies. Yes, all are expensive, but need to look ROCEs and compoundings to justify valuation.

@@kishorenandu1869 you might have been influenced by a KZbinr....I learned from Peter lynch video that you can not predict abt ....aur kitna badhega....so stay invested....I am happy even if I get 20 to 30 % returns...if I am getting extra....I should never sell....as it is fight of fear and greed....you can't predict and time the market....just remain invested for long term.

The fall has nothing to do with fundamentals. The fall was result of operators game. An artificial sale was created at 4900 levels resulting in triggering of stop losses for many. Post that operates bought the counter at 4900 levels. In other words, stocks were snatched by the operators from public. SEBI should do something about this. This is fraud
