@@conordunne8379 Banshees come from Celtic folklore so can be Irish, Scottish, Welsh etc. Each have their own version. In Scotland they are known as The Weeper and The Washer Woman

I saw the banshee when I was a child.. no one died, My Sisters and I heard Her wails one night and again.. no one died. Her presence is a reminder She protects people. I hear Her knocks when someone is in transition. She is beautiful in appearance.

@@IrishGhostStories the 1st time i saw Her, She appeared as a Child. When She turned and looked directly at me She appeared "older" much older with the most beautiful piercing blue eyes. Her hair is long and white.

@@rastamangong31 every member of my family and our dog responded to the 3 knocks on the door but when I opened the door nobody was outside, Then I knew it was Morgan the banshee's call. I hear 3 knocks foretelling of a womans passing and two knocks for a mans passing. bless their souls She is always accurate. I know a lot more about the banshee and made a recording myself. I seen 1 years ago & with in 1 year 3 months apart 2 of my aunts died 1 was 6 months pregnant they tried to save the baby but unfortunately couldn't baby was in her arms in the coffin , may they R.I.P . It was a loomunos green with hair blowing in the wind I will never forget it.

My family is from a very small village called Srahmore by Newport, County Mayo. In the village history, it is record the banshee haunted two families, the Conways and McManamons. Both whom I am related to!

I would also rather not know when someone is going to die, though I have had times when I've felt it coming upon someone (death).

I know the voice is AI generated but its not too bad as far as AI goes. Love the stories, I'm fascinated with the fair folk and banshees, etc. I once had a spirit call to me in old Irish with the words in regard to the washer woman, I still don't know what it meant but it was surprising to hear. I don't recall any deaths close to me at the time but my memory isn't too good for these sorts of things.

I feel I heard the Banshee scream on the wind at night outside my bedroom 2 weeks before he passed he hadnt been well for sometime some minutes before my name was called out. I knew what that meant. I not a novice even tho not well as a small child had visits from fairy folk

I get freaked out when I hear a dog howl's because awhile back I was waiting for the bus to take me to my apartment and a dog howled across the street where I was at this was in the afternoon, and it spooked me, and later I learned that my aunt my mom's little sister had died the day that I heard the dog howled and I lived about 900 miles from her well definitely out of state.

The Banshees came from the Teumalally family and no one else. Near Galway at Teume Castle.now almost gone. And it only appears when the oldest male dies. And it's an entity, not a woman..get it right please....I'm a LALLY...
