So nice to watch this! Grew up a Rovers fans as i originally come from south inner city. Then when i was 12 we moved to Arbour hill D7 which is only 15 min walk from Bohs ground. I stayed loyal to the hoops, though. Rovers then had to share Bohs and their fiercest rival's ground as they became homeless in the 80s. So, my football time was spent watching Rovers play their "home" games in Dalymount - home of Bohs! I haven't lived in Ireland for 20 years so it' s a joy to see Rovers playing in this lovely stadium and back on the south side. Will try to get to see them play there soon. Great football video, well done!

Arguably the best part about the LOI is that it runs through the summer. Just last week Rovers played away in Sligo on a bank holiday Monday. Amazing weather, early train from Dublin to Sligo, parked myself in a beer garden chatting away with fans of both teams before an early evening kickoff. A 3-0 Rovers win topped off a brilliant day. Unfortunately Irish Rail can't run a bath with the last train to Dublin being extremely early and the next bus to Dublin wasn't until 1am so back to the pub. Got home around 5:30am and started work at 7:30am. Definitely some regretful choices but would I do it again? Definitely Other matches to get yourself to: Pats vs Rovers, 27th October* Shels vs Bohs, 14th July Shels vs Pats, 1st September Rovers vs Derry, 26th June FAI Women's Cup Final, 5th November FAI Men's Cup Final, 12th November

Yeah, I defo understand some people do not like the subtitles. It's a bit of work, especially if tired😆 I do that mainly to allow the environment and sounds do the talking for me, as if you were actually there yourself. Never been a fan of flares, especially in such small stadiums. Also wish they would put some LOI games on weekend afternoons during the summer to make it more family friendly. 8pm is a late start for smallies and you really want to get them hooked early.

I did not see any alcohol being served in the stand I was sitting for this game but there may be a bar in the main stand so it could be possible. Enjoying a pint while watching the game is one of lifes simple pleasures! 😎🍻 Looking at the stadium regulations, it's not possible to bring alcohol into the ground like most other stadiums nowadays. 👍 thanks for watching

Bohs a great team but delay in getting stadium built beyond ridiculous now and telling us 8-8500 is enough is ridiculous .Typical though.Matches have been sold out weeks in advance with long delays to acquire season tickets and club membership under various means.Yet an 8200 stadium to replace one that held up to 43,000 is deemed acceptable??ANYWAY it is what it is so for heavens sake no more delays and councelors debating nonsense,get the stadium finished.

Great comment, thanks. Bohs had huge travelling support for this game so I can only imagine the demand for home games.. Such a pity as the football being played seems to be attracting more and more supporters, yet your home stadium can not accommodate it. Bohs look like a v exciting team on the way up so I hope your stadium build kicks on ASAP.

In glasgow fans can be very violent so bad it can be googled this is the body count over a few decade's.A Derby is a Derby but wearing your colours at Rangers v Celtie means your a target to be attacked.its went on since the formation of both clubs fuelld by bigotry.Sad not getting home after a football match rivalry is good in glasgow its hate.

Sorry to hear that. No one should be attacked for attending a football game. Anyone who resorts to violence over a sporting game is not a football fan in my opinion.
