It is amazing how many clubs play in League One , that not so long ago played in the Prem. Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool played PL in 2011. And more recent Reading, Huddersfield Town, Wigan Athletic

So right mate, it's incredible how quick the fortunes of some clubs turn around. So competitive in the EFL, once you drop in there, it's a huge battle.

I did this permanently over 12 years ago & i live 1.3k from the nearest road or footpath. No Grid electric/water/gas even mobile phone/ internet. I got starlik on beta that's why I am the industrial monk haven't seen anyone for weeks 😊.

Hi Mate. Many, many thanks for posting this delightful video. Your KFC bun made my mouth water although I wouldn't have had the sage and onion stuffing cos I loathe onions. You have a nice car there. Is it electric ? We don't have a car but possibly in the future if Kumar can pass his test, maybe in the Emerald Isle when we are living there. Thanks for watching the latest 2 vids, said I would put up a couple of festive ones! The car is petrol, it's called an Opel Adam 😁 my wife loves it. It's a great little car in fairness! In Ireland you will definitely need a car, the public transport is OK but not anywhere as good as elsewhere in Europe. I wish you and your family a lovely Christmas man

Hi Paul. Been a long time since you posted. It's a terrific vlog and Erica spoke in this one which is a huge bonus hehehe. The wind there is really creepy but I guess you are well used to it. I would have hated going out so far for a pee, in that weather. I would have found a bucket or something for the bedroom. I'm not a great meat lover but very rarely I'll enjoy a well cooked pork chop and some chicken curry or korma any time at all. But I could never eat a medium steak. I had an uncle who could eat raw steak straight from the fridge. Gross ! Well my friend, I do wish you and Erica the nicest of Christmases and I'll be looking forward to seeing your other new vlog in a minute. Best wishes from Dai (Anthony)

As an Aussie I am amazed at how cheap and good ferries are around Europe. Travel here is biblically expensive by comparison.

This uses to be a. Bigger forest it was set a light in the late 80s fires took alot of woodland a shame to i must say because when i was young we camp and take trips there for free and no such as camp sites it was proper wild camping, Peter from limerick city

In the mid seventies, I used to live on Sundorne road, It is the first address I remember. It was a lovely area apart from on matchdays when West Ham were in town.

I traveled to Ireland with my dad two years ago, and we did the return trip aboard the Pont-Aven. One of the most amazing ships I had the chance to see! Ireland is a beautiful country too 😊

I love the pont aven ferry. I've only ever stayed in regular cabins or club cabins though. Last time I was onboard it was sailing from Santander back to Plymouth

@@gottawander You're right. We've been travelling the Plymouth/Santander route for the last 30 years, including its predecessor the Val de Loire, which had a far more upmarket Commodore suite (including all the Commodore cabins/corridors/reception and Lounge) to which you had to gain access by card. Essentially, cutting it off from the rest of the ship. I think the Pont Aven's successor will ditch the separate balconies, which will ruin the Commodore experience. My wife can't eat much on sea voyages so we generally take a main course from the Bistro (not the best) up to our cabin, breakfast in room the next day (getting smaller and smaller and yes the coffee is getting worse) and spend the rest of the voyage lounging about in the room until it's time to go down to our car. Luxuriously relaxing, but regretfully getting more and more expensive.

Absolutely, and this coming holiday season seems to be more expensive yet again. Its extremely hard to find a good deal nowadays. Regardless, I hope you have some fun travel plans for 2025 :)

Hi Mate. Another thoroughly interesting vlog from you. I loved it, Paul. I've done scores of Channel crossings in my life and must say that the ships have improved enormously. Prices and fares used to be far, far more affordable in my travelling days. I like this ship, Paul, and your tiny cabin looked fine for just overnight. The chicken nuggets and fish & chips made my mouth water, Paul. Now I'm looking forward to seeing your vlog about Roscoff Town. Keep travelling, Mate !

Everything is how you precive it. Ive traveled both this and comador deluxe. The former you tell yourself its only a means to get across the sea. The latter you can say this is part of my holiday so enjoy the luxury.

I believe the Pont Aven has them. Not sure if working as expected during this trip or they could have been working very well and stopped the rolling from being worse 🙂.

Great video of my hometown team, Real Murcia! We really are underrated and our stadium is from a higher standard but we got relegated because of debt and from 2014 to 2023 we were fighting every day for our club to not disappear! Now all debt is cleared and we can only hope to make a good sporting project and get back up again! Thank you so much for showing our team! Much love from Murcia ❤

Thanks mate, you shared some great information there. I could really feel how strong the home support was when I visited, so its no surprise that the club survived all those turbulent years. I think it's only a matter of time before it clicks on the field and you get promoted. Good start to the season so here is hoping that it continues💪🍻

Design is a little time travel to the 00’s, but it feels more warm and cosy than more modern interiors from other ferries. Only those small annoying details (dust in cabin, that peeled off thing in shop, and those wood balcony furniture and rail should be renewed/repainted) :( Is there a cabin like this but with double bed instead of two solos?

Great summary, totally agree. As far as I know, they only have the two single beds in these Commodore Suites. A double would be way more practical for that room type though IMO.
