Great video. I’m from England but spent my summer holidays in Donegal as my mum was from Derry (had to get away from the troubles). Donegal is my spiritual home.

The chances of seeing that waterfall frozen is next to non existent our winters hardly ever get that cold and if they do which happens rarely it will be inaccessable because snow is so rare only the priority routes would be clear of snow and assaranca waterfall wouldn't be at that time of year.

That makes sense now. We saw photos from a local photographer in his shop and he lived practically right next to it. Still a gorgeous waterfall!

The horses on the island were native connemara ponies.The field is a gaelic football field though hurling can be played you only need 15 players and 5 subs its not american football where you need nearly 100 players.The players will travel across the country to their local club to play for the honor and pride of their homeplace.

Hello again :) that is great to know. I wish we could have seen a hurling or football game during our visit. The pitch on Inishturk looked like an amazing place for a game.
