What a brave woman to have to deal with such strangeness and to think that Elvis Costello is the one responsible for this sad outcome

Elvis Costello 'responsible for this sad outcome'.? Please elucidate. Surely you're not suggesting that Costello caused his early demise. That would be a bizarre thing to say.

I mean England hasn’t any immigrants they must all be marginalised “they’re not one of us” Oh sorry a person of colour from an ethnic minority is running the country. Have you ever watched TV in England? Those people who are “not one of us” are literally all over it. You need to reign in your bigotry.

If Shane Macgowan were a footballer, he'd have played for England. In music, there was more money in being Irish, playing Irish style music. Identity is often a career choice.
