I just heard a short about her today and had to find out more about this amazing woman! My heart swells thinking about how she put others first, despite what happened to her. May she rest in peace. You're amazing Irena.

Irena Sendler was an astonishing woman who inspired and saved thousands. If I didn't read the book Irena's Children for school, I might have never came upon this amazing Polish woman. Yeah yeah, this is all mushy and cheesy but this woman was real. All of this happened, so don't just shove it aside and leave it there to rot. Invite this into your heart and let it affect everything you do. Irena Sendler said that her actions were normal. She meant they should be normal. And I have never agreed more to any words I have heard. And I never will
