love it..I did to...I payed off the highest interest rate first...and wrote a list and labeled envelopes that I stuck money in...and some times had to pay peter out of Paul's allotted savings as I was figuring out my budget over a 6 month period. Paul was gracious and loan peter many times..but we made it ..been out of debt for about 5 yrs.and it feels so,so,so,good.. had a debt from my son's car...o my very hard...but I made it...and yes very emotional. good for you,and me...and every one else who chooses that journey of debt free ...stay after it be the aggressor not the victim...feels good ....

Am thankful that you are sharing your financial steps.i have tried so many times, to start that snowball, and then it ends out to be an avalanche!! I just can't seem to save because something else always comes up.i would appreciate your advice...i just can't get ahead and always have to rely on using credit cards to get by.any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your comment..😄 I know how you are feeling because I was there. I actually got caught up in a pay freeze at the start of my journey right after the economy collapsed in 2008 and I actually never saw a raise up until I left in 2015. Have you ever wrote out a Budget? You have to start there. Then you can see any areas where you can cut back. That is when I saw how I could cut back on my magazine subscriptions, my cable tv and eating out and entertainment expenses. I freed up around $150 just by doing that. Definitely start there. Where you can cut and stretch your food bill out to save money there. Also think about a second job if you have done everything I have suggested above. There has been a few times in my life where I worked two jobs to get ahead. I didn't do that at that time of my life because my health situation wouldn't let me but my cut backs worked for me to start my snowball. Once you get you smallest cc gone it will free up money that you can save for the emergencies. Never use the smallest ones that you are trying to pay off so you can feel and see the reward of paying them off and that will eventually give you more money to maintain your emergency fund as well. I hope this helps..😁💖😉👍
