on faislabad & multan pitches , any batsman can do wonders , but Shoaib Akhtar capable of doing on such dead tracks is beyond any one's imagination. Shoaib was incredibly fast. A treat to watch. That ferocity is missing in todays cricket. 90’s fast bowling was the best. Shoaib’s consecutive bowled outs of Sachin and Dravid , they way he crippled Ganguly with bodyline bouncers and his bowled outs of Sehwag will never be forgotten.

The 16 year old replied,"Coach nay." Imagine if he got out on a duck in that match,what would have happened? We can't imagine what would've happened. But guess what,he scored the fastest ODI century in that match off just 37 balls,a record no one could have imagined at that time and that too by a 16 year old leggie who was named in place of injured Mushtaq. Who would have known that this injury's gonna play it's role for over 2 decades. That young boy continued to impress. 2 years later he made his test debut vs Australia and took a 5-wicket haul.In his very next match he scored a match winning 141 vs India. He continued to impress with his aggressive batting and handy bowling. He scored a match winning 100 off just 45 balls vs India in 2005. Ha scored 103 and 141 in his 22nd and 22rd test match against India. He was named player of the tournament in the ICC WT20 2007.He single handedly made Pakistan victorious in the ICC WT20 2009.
