For me - listening to the magical voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab is like - embarking on an eternal voyage, in a dinghy, in a deep blue sea, on a moonlit night, with solitude and a cool breeze, to give company ! Umpteenth time I listen to the great Khan Saab, the inner urge in my heart to listen to him increases umpteenth time ! And, still it remains insatiable ! Such was the wizardry of this great Wizard of Music ! Those, who have missed it, have missed many things in life ! Oh, what a great loss it was ! It was as if, the ROOH (SPIRIT) of ghazal gayiki had gone, along with his sad demise ! MALIK Inhe Jannat Ata Formaye ! MALIK Se Yohi Ek Khwahish Hain! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s amazing how Maestro Mehdi Hassan could transform words; poetry into magical ghazals. His voice was so heavenly that it makes one listen to him endlessly. So much soulful feelings accompanied by musicians and singer. A gift to Pakistan to remember of. A unique artist.
