Felt elated to listen to this magnificent ghazal - penned by the great Qatil Shifai Saab - in the soulful voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab - for the very first time ! Here, in this ghazal, it was as if, the great Khan Saab had infused life into the beautiful lafz of Qatil Shifai Saab with the exact feel, as depicted in the kalam, owing to his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! What a wonderful feeling it has been ! I have enjoyed it thoroughly ! "Bahut Hi Chain Mila Sunkar !" The great Mehdi Hassan Saab had made a formidable combination with the great Qatil Shifai Saab ! Together, they had offered quite a few path - breaking masterpieces to the World of Ghazal Gayiki ! We owe a lot to this duo for having enthralled us for decades on end with soulful music of very rich content - lafz, sur, taal, and loy - and - aesthetic value ! Let's bow our head in reverence to both of these legends for their impeccable track record and monumental contributions to the World of Music ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤ Irfan Gabol Saab deserves appreciation for his immaculate choice of uploads !
