With the way the game plays it will never be a horror game again, as much as I want it to the entire community is too competitive and sweaty to make it scary, the only thing scary is watching all five gens pop within two minutes.

@@thesavagegummybear7341 It still is a horror game. No game no matter what will be constantly 'ooh scary' after a community dumps thousands of hours into a game that has been in a 5+ year gamecycle. Further, it's not an exclusively horror game, that would be something like Amnesia, Outlast, Dead Space, GTFO, and others like it. The closest argument that can be made is that it's horror aesthetic, not horror themed, but it's still there.

@@MelancholicBubblegum it doesn’t matter, you may have one or two games out of a hundred that could “scare” you like a mirror Myers, but that relys on the other player just having fun, which as we all know fun is illegal in dbd, the game has the horror theme but it does a terrible job of employing it to actually be a horror game, it’s just not gonna be a good horror game with the community and the way it plays.

I tried that one perk that makes you undetectable when standing still for two seconds trying to fool the survivors. I don’t know if it works or I’m just lucky but I have been tricking a lot of people to walk up to me thinking I’m an illusion. I’m very curious if the animation is different between the hallucination and me idling.

Story time: Me and a couple of my friends were playing custom matches and it was my turn to play as killer and I decided to play as spirit since she's my best killer (I don't have the Unknown yet which is the only reason I didn't play him) and I set my built as DMS, Haunted Ground, No Way Out, and Grim Embrace. I chased after the 2 bots first before finally finding my friends. I chase them once each and they dc 😂

That first iri sounds incredibly weak compared to other killers iris I would change it to something like being injured from the uvx blast inflicts broken for 10 (+2.5 seconds for each active hallucination) to encourage a hit and run style of play.
