Uuff!! Its $353.58 au for the tank now. Im in canada itill cost 308cad plus duties for sure. I really want a peanut style tank. You have any ideas where else i could look? Also i love the speedometer on the vstar. I wish there was a way to mold it into a peanut tank.

I know everybody else is looking for black out looking bikes but I don’t care for as much chrome as you have! BUT, I like the way your bike looks way better than when it started that’s for sure!!!👍👍👍👌👌👌😂😂😂👍🙏🙏💪💪💪and I my bike I luckily didn’t have too much chrome to begin with but I tried to black out some and leave some chrome kinda a bit of each is all I’m saying and to finish it off ,,, UNLESS,, you actually like the chrome,,? I find it a pain ass to keep clean so I put maybe a bit more black than chrome on my bike, but like I said kinda of a mix or a balanced of the two if you like

Yeah, every xvs650 i see around here seems to be Matt black so I was after going a different look and was going to keep the chrome. And aim for something a bit outta the norm! Haha but I dont clean it!!!!

Tank looks awesome . The tank outlet looks like it could have been welded at a lesser angle so the fuel hose doesn't stick out so far. Or even mount the outlet on the underside at the rear?

Yeah it sort of goes with the frisco style but cause mine has to circle around into the fuel pump it sticks out a bit. Cheers

Hey mate, I also just ordered the same tank for my bike. It didn’t come with a cap or petcock though. The cap looks like a standard Harley screw type cap, but I don’t know what size petcock to order. Did yours come with the set or do you remember what size it was by any chance?..

Will this tank fit on a v star 650 it said drag star when I went to order it I’m just trying to make sure it will sit on the air intake above the carbs right. With just the standard peanut tank it sits too high and looks off

Drag star is vstar, 1997 to 2018 very little difference, you need to ask the seller mate! 👍👍

Stock tank looked way better that tank just looks funny on that frame.you'd have to do a few more modifications to make it look right and it's too much work stock tank is totally fine

I think the peanut tank looks great, stock tanks and trailer or narrow fenders look way to bulbous and front heavy.
