Iridium Filter Basics

Gino thank you so much for posting this. I'm new to the synth game and was wondering how to apply LFO's to filter. I got my Iridium 6 weeks ago and I'm going through the plethora of factory patches. It never dawned me you can also apply it to the resonance as well.

Notice anything different between the analog filters of the Quantum and analog modeled filters in the Iridium?

@@zerix01 Well, I prefer the sharper resonance character in Iridium, and reverb had better resolution to my ears. I also had to adjust modulation depth for chorus effect, compared to Quantum. But might just have been firmware differences, causing that at the time I made my comparing.

hI there, thank for the video. I just bought ad Iridum but there is something I don't understand with filter types: when I try to change the filter time I can choose LP filters only, there aren't other kind of filter. I treid to update to 2.5.3 firmaware but there is no change. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Hi there, did you get this sorted out? In the 3.0 beta OS, there were some filters not available. However there are added now.

@@ginoco yes, there are 2 solutions: 1) Top Right..."Filter Model"...change to the Filter Model via Touchscreen or Knob. The "Quantum" model only has LP filters-. 2) big rotation dial knob, change filter and press it down (for now)

How are you liking your Iridium? What styles of music do you find yourself using it for? I see the Pro3 under it which I can imagine being a good partner in sequencing together.
