Just purchased one after years of talking myself out if it , last of the big spenders lol Thinking I will be able to use it as a wider diameter for the frying pan also, because I only use an MSR pocket rocket 2 burner head that screws directly to the butane canister Perfect now because the burner head is not too wide Happy camping campers🙂

I tried one over these today and just a slight breeze outside didn't let it get hot enough, the toast was on there about 20 minutes and it just got hard, like it was stale. Didn't work at all

You can use it to toast bagels and English muffins too.....They work great, I think the design has been around for over 75 years.....I think your burner was turned up to high though....
