I have an original iRig and just bought the HD X. So helpfully this video will get me going. I noticed there was no input select, just plug and play. So I hope it's that simple for me :)

Hi, i’m trying to use Irig USB on garageband for my iphone, but i can’t get the irig to connect or record any sound even following these steps, i’m not sure what to do.

@@johnsalais2242 the issue i was having was that my iphone simply could not handle any recording software for whatever reason, i returned the irig and got a scarlett focusrite which is also supposed to work with the phone and had the same issue, except with the focusrite my phone gave me a notification saying the device was too powerful. so I bought a new laptop for recording, was a completely annoying bullshit process but now that i got things together im stoked, but as i was saying, I have an iphone 11, im not sure what generations the irig works on but im guessing no model under the 11 as far as my experience. good luck🙏
