A little bit of lore for Iris Another as it is a rather interesting one. Iris Another is what Iris and Colonel are originally meant to be as a single reploid that as high fighting spirit and peace-loving heart. However, the reason why the project for her creation did not result in Iris Another but instead scrapped to create Iris and Colonel is because the scientists deemed her creation impossible due to the two expected personalites were deemed irreconcilable. Thus they split the two required personalities originally intended for Iris Another into creating Iris (peace-loving heart) and Colonel (high fighting spirit). If they had never given up on the project then it will have resulted in the creation of Iris Another instead of Iris and Colonel.

I'd wager that they couldn't accomplish Iris Another due to the limitations of technology at the time. I'd say around X7 or X8 would have been the perfect time to restart the project with Next-Generations Reploids with newer and more efficient hardware and prigramming that could genuinely rival X, especially with the DNA-Souls of Next-Gen Reploids being able to adapt to any and all situations and virus. With that in mind, merging the two polar personalities would be much more feasible.

@@LockeLynx I don't believe it was the technological limitations within the time period that didn't result in the creation of Iris-Another than it is with how self-contradictory it is for a reploid to embody two conflicting personalities at the same time without it being paradoxical. It's an oxymoron for a being to both embody a peace-loving nature while at the same have an absolute bloodlust drive for fighting. Embodying both personalities would only lead to inevitable self-destruction, for two personalities cannot coexist within a single entity without one trying to claim dominance over the other for what it believes to be morally correct. It's like trying to mesh water and fire in a container, hoping that the result will somehow produce a harmonious relationship.

For some reason I do like to think that, unlike X, Zero and Axl who was made in the past by their respective doctors[There's some nice theories that Kalinka Cossack made Axl], this "Another" version of Iris actually, in a idea of reusing this concept, was made in a huge advanced future, in Rockman Dash timeline to be sent to the past. Since Iris fused a great part of her brother's chips and dna into her body, what remained of her got found by a older Tron Bonne[Or even Roll Casket, but I kinda prefer the idea of Tron Bonne being her re-creator], who remodeled her to be a hero full of confidence [which would fit the bossy personality of Another Iris, since in someway, it fits with Tron Bonne's personality] Then she creates a time machine and sends her to help in periods of destruction and despair. Basically Another Iris being the last remaining "reploid" but from future.
