Thanks! I like keeping the samples somewhat raw sounding because I feel strongly that it promotes realism. I usually use the actual instruments, but I sometimes take a little shortcut and use the sample library now! Finding that first Orff bass xylophone for $75 on FB marketplace was a game changer for me. I wrote an album where I used it heavily, and it was instantly obvious that it would be very inspiring to have more Orff instruments hanging around the studio!

Do you need the full Kontact, or can you run this in the free Kontact player?

full Kontakt, the player requires the creator to pay licensing fees which they can't really do when giving away the instrument for free. Many of the instruments are also available for the free software Decent Sampler, though.
