Proud of Katie, embarrassed that Ireland is so backwards that she had to pretend to be a boy just to play sport. Didn't have a proper dressing room, the female Irish Rugby team and GAA teams are still fighting for basic rights in Ireland. Never mind getting paid equally for putting in the same effort. Nothing to be proud of really. She will probably have to fight tooth and nail to fight in Croke park even though shes more decorated than any Irish sports star ever to come out of Ireland. I always remember Bernard Dunne fighting in The Point Depot and getting the Saturday night prime time spot on RTE for his fight, he was knocked out within 90 seconds and paid more money than Katie can dream of meanwhile Katie was 5 times European Amateur champion and RTE didnt even televise her fights on Sunday morning or Monday afternoon least watched spots on TV nevermind prime viewing spots. They hardly even mentioned her name in the Sports section. Nothing to be proud of.

@@rasher331 completely agree with you man it’s all about the money 💰 RTE won’t pay to put it on TV which is a joke if you look at how big of a star she is ., and the government won’t change legislation because they are to stuck up there own ass but there is something to be proud of and that’s Katie Taylor her self . She didn’t make them decisions on Ireland 🇮🇪 so be proud of her man 👍🏻
