Irish Farmers are *VICTIMS* of "Die Hard" in farming (alone)

Succession Crisis: As we've discussed, the difficulty in attracting younger generations to farming adds to the "Die Hard" analogy. Older farmers may feel forced to keep going because there's no one to take over, even if they are physically or emotionally exhausted.
Lack of Support: The phrase could also imply a sense of being let down by the system or a lack of adequate support from the government or other institutions. They're fighting to survive, but feel like they're doing it alone

What do the politicians have to say about the Deal the EU has with done South America for the importation of Agricultural goods into the EU including Beef. They are closing down our farmers to make room in the market for the imports that is coming from South America

A pile of ye farmers are single men due to spending years at home with the mother. Its sad to see but alot of them are very risk averse in that regard.
