Because they had to wash, feed themselves,heat there babies bottles, keep themselves warm, and so much more. Then as years went bye I realised having dealt with the electrical supply companies that they not only are overpaid and underworked never mind their pensions, they didn't give a damn about cutting the power from a person with children or a pensioner. However when it came to a commercial business or industrial, they'd let that slide, but the granny on a meagre pension had to pay or get cut off. I've known this for years, these energy companies get away with murder because everyone NEEDS power. Energy companies and their electricians are considered the lowest form of life amongst us tradesmen.

@stewartw.915128 күн бұрын
That was called "Load Shedding", a nice euphemism! Even the name illustrates the lying mentality of the deceiving and corrupt government here! That began in 2008 and has gone on ever since until recently, on a published schedule with periods of up to 4 hours of load shedding at a time and possibly several times per day! However we have not had that regular power cutting for several months now, and that is partially - perhaps significantly - due to the fact that the monopoly utility called Eskom has been able to keep up with demand by people going fully or partly "off-grid" with solar for domestic and even industrial power supply. The number of houses and factories with large quantities of solar panels is extraordinary to see. That of course is far from cheap to install, and those with lesser means (the majority) cannot take advantage of that! The ludicrous thing is that this of course has resulted in a fall in demand for Eskom's product, electricity, and now, shock, horror, they want to increase the price by 36% since profits have fallen! Bottom line? Katie is right, become a "prepper" like I did. Change to LPG for cooking and heating, buy several rechargeable lanterns (candles are not much use really), a couple of rechargeable flashlights, a powerbank for the phone and so on. You could not this shit up, but hey as they say TIA (This Is Africa)!

True, but who's demented agenda is this ?.. and why are our globalist-Marxist government pushing it so hard ?.. especially given that it is of absolutely no benefit whatsoever to the UK or it's citizens.. This country contributes less than 2% of global CO2 output, if it disappeared tomorrow, we all died and UK carbon output fell to zero immediately, the reduction in global CO2 output would be so insignificant that it would be nigh-on impossible to measure.. This means their justification for the destruction of our society and the government drive to force the UK back into a literal 'New Dark Age' (the reality of 'Net-Zero') is FAKE and nothing to do with any 'climate-catastrophe'.. I saw M Thatchers "dash for gas" to run down the demand for coal, gas turbine stations running on natural gas had a design life of 25 years by which time the gas would have run out, then what was the plan? Superb video upload Katie and easy for the hard of thinking to grasp. When it comes to pensioners losing their £300 (rations), at least Eskimos were open with their elderly when they left them on an ice floe. Commenting from my 15 minute zone, the question is WHY is the UK being actively shut down.

yes, that's what I'm asking as well.

I don't know about the UK's natural resources usage per capita. In the US, I have been told (for at least 40 years) thst 5% of the worlds population(USA) uses 25% of the worlds resources. The elite crowd are worried that the western industrialized citizens, that made them rich, are now using the stuff that makes being super rich so much fun. We must go. Still need really poor people to do the scut work. People with much lower expectations for their futures. And presto! Old people get snuffed and poor rsfugees take their places.

Katie, once again you're spot on! Thank you for putting this in a way that people can understand more easily. We in the USA are experiencing the same thing, just not as drastically as you are there in the UK. It is a global control effort, no doubt in my mind. A slow, hardly perceptible change that the elitists are hoping the average person doesn't notice. That frog in the boiling water effect. Unfortunately for them, people like you do notice and are helping to bring to light what is on the horizon.

I remember the power rationing in the past with the three day working weeks, the future is going to get darker... literally

It’s obviously a hard habit to quit for the Labour Party, I to remember those crazy days when the unions ran the country, history is repeating itself.

State side here, glad I tuned in. To use the comment at present below me "Asset stripping & dismantling the country whilst lining their pockets" is worldwide. Corporations run our governments. We at present have the internet and in many cases can find out what's happening to people in other countries. Becoming aware of the situation is key. This video did just for me. The necessities of life are being price rationed. How many people in America are bankrupt because of medical bills? Tens of millions. Thank you Katie.

For 20 years my wife has been telling me the Gre8t Reeset is coming. Gradually I began to see her point of view. She, like Katie are on the mark. Thank god for strong, intelligent women with bucket loads of critical thinking skills. Prepare people for when the shtf. If you can't see that something is in the air just consider how gold has gone up in value. This always happens in times of crisis.
@adoremus4014Ай бұрын
The price of gold has risen due to money printing which causes inflation and devalues fiat currency. And it will get worse, much worse. Stack gold and silver!

Problem is, even those who have pointed this out for 25 years, have no real solutions. I include myself. It is like being on a runaway train with no brakes. Of course there is a way to stop it, but nobody wants to go to jail... even by just mentioning it.
