I'm in Columbus Ohio.. The most dangerous animal which may sound silly but DEER are the most dangerous animals where I live! Deer are numerous in the wooded areas of the city of Columbus. There are deer crossing warning signs also to be watchful for deer that maybe standing in the road or on the side of the road you are driving on. Deer often run across in front of your car. Deer are also hard to see because their camouflage body color blends in to the surroundings. Deer like to come out during sun rise and sun set. Deer can cost thousands of dollars of damage to your car if hit.

Texas we have alligators, several kinds of venomous snakes and spiders, cougars, bobcats, feral hogs, and stinging insects not to mention the deer, dogs and livestock. A majority of which you can often find on our property.🤷♀️😉

@@jefferyshute6641 we had a red bone hound mix ripped up by a cougar back in the 90's at the back of our property. The guys were out fixing fence and saw the cougar tracks a few days after she came flying through the screen door all cut up and bleeding. Poor dog hid in the closet for weeks, refusing to go farther than the end of the porch to go to the bathroom.

Deer in America cause over one and a half million accidents each year. One hundred fifty people on average die each year, or about one in ten thousand accidents. That means of the over four thousand accidents on the average day, a person dies from a deer versus vehicle accident every two and a half days!

...because there are no dangerous animals in Australia. 🤨 You guys have the Krait and the Sydney Funnel Web Spider, to name just two off the top of my head, plus all of the sharks near the Great Barrier Reef. I live in one of the states with all of these top 10 (Florida), yet I don't live in fear. In some of the more remote parts of Australia, I'd be a lot less secure.
@matthewcullen12984 ай бұрын
@@UserHorologiumyeah but snakes are easy to deal with and sharks don't attack me in the swimming pool or bathtub.😝🤣 Bears and mountain lions are both beautiful and scary. I've been around heaps of Aussie snakes and never had a problem. Crocs are a concern if you're near any waterhole up north but no where near where I live. My mate in Darwin sees them a fair bit when fishing. We don't get funnel webs where I live that I know of. That's not saying it's not possible. We get plenty of huntsman spiders but I pick them up and take them outside.
@bradkirchhoff57034 ай бұрын
Imo the most intimidating animal to be around is a large horse. Bc they are USUALLY tolerant but can snap at the drop of a hat. You expect bears to be the way they are. You expect gators to be the way they are. However, one fucking kick from a horse can EASILY take your life. 1 misstep, 1 mistake and its lights out immediately. They can also bite but my gpa has horses and they come see what we are doing when out fixing things. Theyre very curious which is beautiful but at the same so fucking intimidating.
@LadyPenumbra4 ай бұрын
You just have to respect the animal. I had a horse on my farm, he was never any trouble. You were more likely to be crushed by eager cows wanting their morning milking. We had horses, cattle, mountain lions, and yes, even bears. A bear got into our canning shed one day, just helping herself to all of the peach harvest. Wildlife Services had to come down the mountain and trank her. America is wild. And what I mean by that is, as large as this country is, it is still 90% undeveloped land. I lived in a town on the side of a mountain. Our farm was backed by over 100 miles (210km) of pure unadulterated wilderness. This is not uncommon.
@LadyPenumbra4 ай бұрын
I actually forgot about the snakes, too. Snakes are territorial, so if you don't want venomous ones, encourage the constrictors. We had a lot of black snakes on the farm, but we never removed them. It was better to sacrifice the occasional chicken egg, or chicken, than to have poison snakes. My friend Debbie, they were chicken farmers, they had a professional remove all of the black snakes from the property, then very next year they had copperheads (very deadly) they had to get ferrits, just to be safe inside their home. Respect the animal. That's all I'm saying.

I am from San Diego, California and the most dangerous animals in my area would be rattlesnakes, the occasional scorpion, the occasional mountain lion and the occasional great white shark attack. We have seen (very rarely) killer whales make their way this far south. The Pacific ocean down here is still cold enough for them. Really most prey driven animals in our area are mostly looking for our cats and dogs. We have a large amount of hawks here and they spend all day looking for your pets to snack on. Also, my mother recently saved a neighbor's small dog from the jaws of a coyote. Lucky for the small dog my mother startled the coyote enough for him to drop the dog and run away.

Been stung by those wasps once, one of the worst pains ever felt in my life, I flipped my car had to rip my hand out of the crushed metal ripping off skin n fingernails n broken ribs, I've been through a lot of crash sh*t lol like a lot...that 1 sting is definitely top 3 pains ever felt, I'm not allergic either... been stung by hundreds of bees. Alligators are weak sauce unless planning getting in random ponds...deer are all over the US and very dangerous especially with driving, dogs shouldn't even be on list, wouldn't mine, cougars should be way higher, snakes are in pretty select spots, Id say deer deserves top spot as far as quantity

You don't swerve when you see a deer, most of the time you see them as they impact the front of your car. Scorpions aren't insects. I've been stung by one, not as much fun as you might think. I lived in Florida and black bears would come through my yard. There was one that weighed over 350 lbs we saw regularly. Snakes can be an issue but not the coral snake. Even though it's very venomous, it is extremely shy and is a rear fanged snake with small fangs. Sharks, oh yeah, I fished a lot on the Florida coast where I lived and have caught or hooked many sharks. It was nothing to see people swimming and be within feet of big sharks and never have a clue.
