If you want the better sweets and drinks, definitely go to the Universal parks. You can also buy it from them that isn't in that crappy package. The real deal butterbeer is SO good fresh. Also, they do serve alcohol in the park- the HP section doesn't sell ANY brand-name 'muggle' products.

Theyre irish, so the best place to go would ACTUALLY be the warner brothers studio set. Which has the real sets and movie props and such. Plus its closer, cheaper and easier to get to for those living in well the UK/northern island haha. *slight internal british screaming* Also they sometimes open up the hogwarts express and dursley house for viewing which is really nice, But for real if you ever get the chance, WB set studio tour is amazing :)

Frozen Butterbeer at Universal is the absolute best (it's expensive but you can keep the cup). They also have butterbeer fudge which is AMAZING. I wish I bought more than one square when I was there.

Butterbeer is so good when you go to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios like its so cold and it has way more foam in it and it tastes like caramel! I think there videos on youtube that can show you how to make them but they're really yummy and i wish you can try them.

I can honestly say that I have tried the "Butterbeer" they're drinking and Butterbeer that can be made. The stuff they had is disgusting, is super, super sweet and only tastes like butterscotch. The kind that is made is a million times better and definitely (from what it sounds like in the movies and in the books) better tasting.

The cockroach candy would have been a gas but I don't think they're made anymore. It was a big gummy cockroach with a hard candy shell. They were fruit flavored but the genius was having the soft and hard textures together to sell the illusion of eating a real cockroach.

It's kind of funny how everyone seem interperate Butterbeer as some weird kind of butterscotch soda, when traditionaly it was a mulled drink made with brown ale, sugar, eggs, spices and of course butter.... it's basically delicious, alcoholic drinking custard and has more in common with the American eggnog than it does soft drink.

Butterbeer is much better if ya make it at home. The non-alcoholic version is basically just... cream soda with butterscotch syrup and whipped cream. But the alcoholic is yummmmmy. Equal parts vodka and buttershots with just a pinch of Guinness to even out the sweet, topped off with cream soda. We used vanilla vodka when we made it, but plain would probably be okay too. And, of course, topped with whipped cream (from the can, not the tub).
