I'm getting over the stomach flu at the moment, and Paddy's rum cocktail made me quite queasy all over again. Fortunately, Niall's laughter and Ciara telling him to just "lift up the lid, you prick," revived me.

A trip to the vet solved anything severe but she slept, drank and puked a lot, which automatically made me think of the Try Channel. So, the winner here was Colin. I'd like to see more of these. I think a great pairing would be Darren and Martin. Darren would probably use the ingredients in a deliberate manner to try to make a good drink. Martin, on the other hand, would probably drink the shots and then throw everything else in a glass and name every one "A 10 out of 10". 😁

For round 3, the ingredient list says mint, but the picture at 9:44 shows a bag of basil. Both totally usable in drinks, but they are decidedly NOT THE SAME.

sadly, not for me, basil tastes like soap to me.. the flowers smell lovely but not something I'd want in my mouth. Mint is fine..

LOVE this series so much. A thought: it would be cool to let the TRYers pick their own glassware and types of ice. Round two could've made for a mean psuedo-whiskey sour. (Having the default glass be full-size encourages excessive use of what's on the table, but maybe that's the point.)
