Adverse effects. Vodka eyeballing can cause corneal abrasions and scarring, promote angiogenesis in the eye (and thereby cause loss of vision), and increase the risk for eye infections, and has been condemned by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

It was funny how Callyann and Ann reacted so differently to the shots; like polar opposites. Also, Ann kept sinking lower and lower into the chair after taking each shot until she looked shorter at the end than when she started. 😅 Grainne was great and Callyann was hilarious as always!

Definitely not a good idea. Premixed alcohol drinks and shots have multiple ingredients and preservatives for shelf life stability and the added sugars for reasons idk. It tastes like chemicals to me IMO.

For my 21st birthday (back in the Dark Ages), they had 21 snowshoe shots waiting for me. That's bourbon and schnapps. I remember having #7, they told me I drank 11, but I had to take their word for it. I completely missed the day after my birthday. I thought I was a veteran shot drinker, those shots proved me wrong. B-52 is a USA Bomber from the Cold War Era. Plus there was a band called B-52, with Amy Winehouse. That isn't the Alabama Slammer that I am formular with, which tasted like Hi-C Red kids drink.

Paddy alot of products here in the states add sucralose and sugar together so they don't need as much sugar in it also they can charge more for it. I have to be very careful and read labels since sucralose is on of my seizure triggers (I'm epileptic and sucralose, aspartame, stress lack of sleep are some of my triggers)

Kamikazes...brings back memories. Back in college I threw a party on December 7th. Theme: Pearl Harbor. So the idea was that you dressed Hawaiian and got bombed. Abusive amounts of Kamikazes were consumed. What followed was one of those nights that you look back on years later and wonder how you survived. :P

Here in Western Canada, we have a brand of pre-made shots like those split shots, but the barrier is twisted, so they are called "Twisted Shots". The thing about the twisted shot, and this is probably true of those split ones, is that they taste different depending on which side of the split/twist you drink from. Also, Callyann, you are wrong about them being perfect to hand to guests as they arrive for a party, at least in my opinion. Back in the 90s, I went to a party where the hosts gave everyone coming through the door a chocolate cannabis cupcake. When the party broke up early the next morning, there were a couple people who had not had cupcakes, or smoked pot but drank, and were too drunk to drive home (it was a very rural area, Black Creek on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada), so those of us who hadn't anything to drink, drove them home in a procession of vehicles down the highway at about 4:30am!

I'm trying to figure out what the heck that red "B52" was. Cause it did NOT look like the B52's that I have taken before. I know it as a commercial 3-layer-shooter, which I know would lose the layers ... But A B52 is a layered mix of Baileys, Grand Marnier and Kahlua... That does NOT produce a red shooter.

You should have the true college party drink-trash can punch! Several cans of Hi-C poured into the lined trash can, a bottle of Everclear added, and tons of cut-up fruit floated on top. Everyone gets their red Solo cups loaded with ice and starts dipping into the punch. That was delicious to a teen-early 20s palate.
