(8), in the Royal Stables of a magnificent 11th century castle 30 minutes from my home, we celebrated the 20th birthday of one of his grandsons from Paris; he was with his Vietnamese girlfriend who I discovered, very pretty and very intelligent, she is coming back from 6 months of studies in Canada, he is leaving next week for a 3 month internship (work-study/studies/company) in Malaysia, these young people are really 😉 The (gastronomic) meal was sumptuous and refined, wow, it did me good, to find a semblance of a social life again, and tomorrow evening after spending the afternoon with Claude , I am invited to my kind neighbors, I hope that your day will be as beautiful and filled with serenity, and lots of little joys I love you

Makes you want to hang out with your best buds and have a jolly time of it. Speaking of a goofy Barry Babe, one of my favorite things to do for a mental health day is spend hours in the kitchen, crank up old tunes, dance about whist baking up a storm. This medley may be perfect for a baking day, A day of chilling, not being concerned with the daily things of life and enjoy just a bit of fun time. Pure medicine for a pick-me-up the end of the work week. Energizing for sure. I enjoyed that is was so infectious that you could not help but sing along. Thanks for the smiles. RR

Has Kirsten ever looked and sounded lovelier? (OK, maybe in Shallow.). I think she enjoyed her bouncy curls as much as any of us did. Scott was having too much fun with his diamond-shaped specs. Matt looked and sounded fantastic, and Kevin was amazing (and looked like he was having a ball). Mitch got to do sound effects for the first time in way too long, and he was *born* to cover Cher. I'd love for them to cover the 70s (my secondary school and uni years) and the 80s (my single career years). I was too busy as a new mum in the 90s to have noticed most of these!

I don't think it's a secret in the Pentaholic community that KEVIN is my favorite!! I adore all of them, but Kevin is very special to me because of who he is as a human being. I just love him so much! You know, I was raising my daughter during the 90s, & she was a very sickly baby / toddler, so I don't know many of these songs coz I was so preoccupied with her for that whole decade. But I love them now, hearing Ptx sing excerpts from them!! And I agree they should release full versions of all those songs!!! This was brilliant, & I'm so glad you appreciate their music so much. Barry, I could be wrong (if so, I apologize), but I don't think you've reacted to PTX live at the Star Vista in Singapore. I think you're ready for it lol. Just a note or two; they start with a hymn, while Kevin--who was "cello-boxing"--puts his cello away. Then they segue brilliantly into a cover of Imogen Heap's "A-Ha!" It's a fancam, so it's not perfect, but it's still well worth watching. Anyway, Kevin IS there, but by the time he comes on stage, the person filming it is focused on Avi then Mitch. For those of us who were going to the disco when these songs were released, this cover is just MAGNIFICENT! The originals relied so heavily on the beat, lots of high-hat and cymbals and fast backing music and PTX are just AMAZING how they recreate them flawlessly

I’m down for a 70s medley! Best decade for music in my opinion, starting out with singer-songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon snd Carole King and then the middle of the decade came all of the great rock ‘n’ roll bands like Doobie Brothers and BTO, ELO, ELP, LZ, Styx, the Eagles (who fall in a category of their own), and many more. Then near the end of the decade came disco and I like all of those types of music. So much versatility! I know I sound old when I say that so much of the music today sounds so much alike and so many of the tracks that are produced today on an artists new release sound very much the same with a few exceptions. I was a DJ at a disco in Dallas in ‘78, just after the movie Saturday night fever was released in Dec, ‘77, with all of those hits from the soundtrack. What is the name of the PTX video with them on one side and the originals on the other side? Does that mean it’s a DVD? Thanks!

For me Kirstin... I have loved watching Kirstie grow from the shy, somewhat timid member of the group to the powerhouse, belting beast she is now. She’s out there belting with boys now! This is the most highly qualitacious medley ever!!!!! My fav Kirstin, yours...hmmm Mitch!?? Love them all but something about Kirstin's emotional attachment to the music grabs me and draws me in! Agreed they need to do them full length...or medleys for every year...or...or..once again proves they are not of this world!!
