Just a big shout out to our Irish brothers from Serbia! Still haven't forgotten what your forefathers did for us in the WWI, how they fought against numerically superior enemy and they the sacrificed their lives in order to save the Serbian army at the battle of Kosturino! It was the 10th (Irish) Division with 8.000 brave souls that stood alone against 100.000 Bulgarians (Bulgarians tried to attack from the rear and to cut of the escape route of the retreating Serbian Army and the accompanying Serbian people while they were pursued by the combined might of the German and Austro-Hungarian armies).With their sacrifice they saved hundreds of thousands of Serbian lives and definitely shortened the duration of the WWI! After the WWI the grateful Serbian people erected a monument (a Celtic Cross) near the village of Rabrovo (then south Serbia, modern day North Macedonia) as a sign of gratitude to those brave man of the 10th Irish!

Я рада была познакомиться с такой международной семьёй! Думаю, что сериал надо продолжить, снять теперь серию, где теперь о жене, и 3я серия - о сыне! Замечательное изложение для потомков! В 1999году по программе ТАСИС я училась в Питере ,куда приезжал инвалид в коляске, руководитель НКО " Мобилити Интернэйшнл". Он подарил мне кассету с ирландскими танцами, которые я до сих пор очень люблю. А также рассылаю друзьям , чтоб они тоже оценили их редкость и любили их смотреть. Хорошие титры сопровождают фильм. @@marky1974 not all, but some. My personal statistics ahows that when offered the relocation. ~40-50% of the programmers go, and the remaining 60-50% stay in Russia. And of course not all companies havesome reason to, can afford, or want to bother with the relocation of the company and/or of people. I see around me about 25% of good software engineers I know have left Russia. Programmers are still seeping out of course, but at the very slow rate.

Yes, as a Russian I confirm that sounded kind of tactless towards the Irish who would watch this interview. I wonder if some parts have been edited or she's really so straightforward. Sorry, if you felt offended. I got to meet some really fun and smart Irish people while working as an interpreter in Russia. I remember then speaking super fast it was a bit hard to follow their train of thought.i thought to myself, they must be really smart with such fast- paced thought process

Agree. I live in Ireland now, being born and raised in SPb, RF. I like it, actually, and people are the biggest and best Irish asset. The landscape design, amount of grass and trees, and the fantastic people. I even have managed to del with the locl medical servces, which requires some, well, agility. The housing prices, the climate and the customer service is a completely diferent story. :)

This woman says that Irish people are ignorant and unwilling to try new things. As an Irish woman I am calling that utterly untrue. All being well I will be in Russia in the summer and I hope to meet lots of different people with a wide range of life experiences. It is a huge country but I'm hoping to see quite a lot. There are no plans to go to Rostov though, which is great because then there will be no chance of running into this woman.

ну он же тоже ирландец, а она за него замуж вышла. и ничего особо негативного она не сказала, я понимаю о чем она. живу в штатах, тут примерно так же, дружба очень поверхностная, большинство очень зашорено и ничего не знает о том, что в мире происходит, им просто не интересно, и как она сказала - даже новую еду не будут пробовать, вот прямо в точку. в Японии если ты иностранец, то тоже не будешь чувствовать себя своим. при этом иностранцы живущие в России часто отмечают, что русские дружат по другому, принимают их как своих и они в итоге себя чувствуют в России, как дома.

Рада, что семья счастлива в России. Но я совсем не согласна с описанием ирландцев. Люди там очень добрые и душевные, открытые и дружелюбные. В последние годы страна очень сильно изменилась, либерализовалась до крайности, что влияет и на людей, особенно молодёжь. Это грустная реальность, но всё равно она слишком жестко прошлась по целому народу
