I have been to many Angling / Game Shows over the years but I have never been to one as friendly and enjoyable as this one. It is only in its infancy being the second year its taken place but I have a feeling this show could become as popular as the BFFI. The show covers a host of angling such as Fly Fishing, Coarse Fishing, Predator, Sea Angling and even goes further afield with foreign trips.

We need to have a fly fear in London or Surrey. We miss out on all of this.there are so many fly fisheries around London that the angler's would love to come and see all the fly fishing equipment and flies.

It is so important I can’t stress the point enough. The Irish Show was a great example of how it can be done.

We have a bait pond where I work so kids can get the feel of catching trout before progressing to the fly lakes. We also run fly tying lessons now and again. 👍

@@lindsayiflyfish Absolutely, hopefully as more interest and support builds within a few years it will become as well attended both by the industry and and grass roots anglers. To be as well regarded as the BFFI. Your video will have opened up more awareness of what the event is about. Next year how many extra stands and mainland anglers will be there. The power of the internet and your channels highlighting of just how much of a gem this event is. Can only be a positive influence.

@5:25? Travelled from the “mainland”! 😂 It’s been quite a while since Ireland was referred to as a space off the “mainland” !!! Or is that Europe this gentleman is referring to. Oh how easy it is for the unenlightened to put his proverbial foot in it! I’m sure he’s a lovely gentleman but Empire does as Empire is( and was in this case)🇮🇪

I'm fairly new to tying flies . Re the guy tying the stimulator . Where does he get feathers that length with consistent fibre length . Looks like he could get half a dozen flies out that one feather when the ones I have seem to be shorter with varied (longer )fibres

Iain, He is a professional and uses generic capes these are brilliant but very expensive to buy. If you are only tying for yourself you would be hard pushed to justify the cost.
