Love that they're going for the tucked turns, they're so fun when you get them right!

The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago has this dance in its repertoire. It is named "Jarabe de Rio Verde" (Dance of the Green River). Mexican dance and music were influenced by the Spanish Colonialism, French Intervention, England, iRIH, Scottish, and others. This video shows Irish and Mexican dancers performing together: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2q9op2EZq96qqc SLIDE TO THE 2:50 MARK.

Lovely to see all those people dancing in shorts, skirts - some barefoot - or dresses. Are the most of you of Irish descent? Yours, Dutch Neal

I have looked all over for a used copy of this since the website no longer works. Do you have ANY spare copies you'd be willing to part with?
