CSKA fan here , both teams need a loooooooots of improvement but considering the overall level of both National teams and leagues (Ireland and Bulgaria) wasn't bad game . CSKA fan as well - In general we played badly, the irish knew how to play on our nerves. Instead of going for 2:0 first half - poor midfield play. I wonder how many times we lost the ball without any pressure (I give that to the nervousness). Best chance for Pat's comes after Jeferson's mistake. A lot of fouls given against our attackers, which was a bit strange sometimes. So many mistakes going forward... Glad we made it at the end. I wonder why the irish goalee wasn't wasting time here haha. In Sofia he lost more than 5 minutes for goal kicks only in the first half. Everyone at the stands was angry at him by the 10th minute. Honestly, I think we were the better team, but congrats to the saints, good and tough games! Cheers and go on to overtake Shamrock for the 10th league title. You deserve it and with a little more luck in front of the goal you can make it!

Thanks for the vlog but I think the provocation/brawl was started from the Pats player who after the final whistle pushed one of CSKA's players from the back. From then on things started to escalate, as the CSKA player was indeed mocking the home fans but he didn't provoke the players of the opposition. Hence, I believe the title is misleading. We do have a lot of work ahead of us in general, and since Basel is obviously the better team and has way bigger budget it will be hard to win. But we did beat them in the EL play-off two years ago, why not do it again :) Good luck to your team, I think you have the potential to play in the CL.

The first goal was a poor one to give away, I thought CSKA were gonna run over yous after that but Pats grew into the game and as the game went on you were probably the more likely to score! Penalty was a sickener! Same old story with Irish teams in Europe, plenty of endeavour and effort but little reward! Probably need to be a bit more cynical in these games, tactical fouling to stop the momentum of other teams when they are on top! Great atmosphere! Don't compare CSKA to these a**holes. Everyone in Bulgaria hates them and lots of people celebrated their drop out of the qualifiers for CL. They were trying to get a foul for every touch against Shamrock. They think the refs would give them the freedom they have in the home competition. Every year there are less people on the stands because of these green bas*ards (ludogorets - which by the way means crazy forest). And for the riots - our left back played badly, I don't understand his gestures at the end. Hope next game our sub - the young Galin Minkov takes the chance. This guy(Bradley) doesn't deserve to be on the pitch with such play and he is making it easier for the coach with the red card. EDIT: Looking at the scenes again, I think Bradley was provoked first and he was pointing at the stands, then one of the Pat's team is pushing him in the back. Anyway, we go through, good luck.

Impressive atmosphere created by a huge Pat's support. Same as last years FAI Cup final where the Pat's support were brilliant and constantly singing and roaring their team on. It seemed more noisy than when my own club play there. On the game i think Pat's were just about the better team over all but two really poor goals really ruined their chance. That miss in first half (forget name of player) really should have been scored. And then CSKA may have buckled under the pressure. I wasn't impressed with CSKA. They were awful in Sofia and while they were better last night they still looked vulnerable and their discipline and fitness levels were poor. But Pat's can be proud. 8 new players this season is it? And only a fraction of the budget of CSKA and were desperately unlucky not to beat them. With Sligo dumping out Motberwell, Pats doing so well and not looking out of place v a Bulgarian giant and Rovers now guaranteed to be in a European group stage the days of Irish club football being dismissed and seen as an easy touch are hopefully over.

There are still a lot of families attending home games, but on a derby match you can't see a lot of them. Second, no, bulgarian football doesn't have a problem with racism, there is a problem with drunk fans and no rules or order on the stands. And no, nobody is doing anything. We need a new BFU president, but the mafia is everywhere. We want Dimitar Berbatov to be the BFU pres, so we can move up, instead of constantly going down in every football rank. As for the racism, I think you can see a racist everywhere, it's not a traditional thing for bulgarians. Here the kids are raised freely, they don't understand the racism as you know it. Hating everyone, not just the black people or families or elders. I understand that you are making this review right after the game and emotions are still running high. But you are not even close to being objective or fair. Your team invited this sort of behavior with the abhorrent and shameful actions , that some of your players displayed during the first game in Sofia. Which i might add were mostly condoned and left unpunished by the referee. Obviously what Bradley did was wrong, and he got punished for it. He allowed his emotions to get the better of him.Which is not excusable, but somewhat easy to understand. After all both Bradley and the other person that were making taunting gestures towards your supporters are somewhat young. (24 and 20) They simply lack the experience for dealing with high stakes games like the one we played yesterday. Anyway, incidents like that are quite rare for our team and it's more of an exception than a common occurrence. The same can not be said for Ludogorets which are in fact total c*nts. Can you please tell me who racially abused your player? If it's the guy who got pushed in the back, he is a black Dutchman, so I find it hard to imagine he actually made a monkey gesture ( i think it's obvious he was flexing his muscles). He did taunt you, and it was really stupid of him, so I think he deserved that push. However, if he actually did do something racist (which I am yet to see or hear, since nobody cares to present any kind of evidence), your club should file a complaint with UEFA and he should be punished. Aside from that, good to see Irish football developing, and I think your team has potential to be in the group stages of European competitions for sure.

I was at the game vs England, and it was a group of ~20 people which came for 15 mins did the monkey chants and then left the stadium. They were there to provoke and make sure they create a scandal, which would result in the resignation of the chairman of the Football Union. We rarely have such incidents in Bulgaria. Every time it happens it's the same 3 retards who do this. The problem is there is no adequate punishment for this, which has to change.
