I paid a visit to the city of Gomel to sample the local culinary delights of its famous Soviet canteens.

Appreciate the new video as always and hope you upload more and more. I'm learning Russian thanks to you, Bald, and Vaga Vagabond. I'm American, lived in Germany for over 15 years, and I speak German. I wanted to learn a new language, eventually visit and who knows after I retire.

The shirt says in Serbian "ти си понос мог града", which means "you are the pride of my city" but "понос" in Russian means "diarrhea" so a Russian speaker would think it's "you are diarrhea of my city".
@IrishPartizan4 ай бұрын
A native Russian speaker would get that it's not Russian straight away but would find it hilarious. A good friend of mine, Tanya pointed that out to me a while back.

I doubt there is a place in Europe outside of Belarus where you can still get such great value for money. Looks great. Thanks for sharing. Am I right to think that you had a video in the past in Gomel when you visited Stolova Number 5?
@IrishPartizan4 ай бұрын
You are probably thinking about the stolovaya I visited in Uritskoye just outside of Gomel which is on a collective farm and the stolovaya in Terehovka which is also in the Gomel Region that I ate at with Mr. Bald.
