Awesome job there, looks both practical and cozy 👍 I had a VW campingvan many years ago, me and my brother drove around Europe with it, nice memories!

I would love a VW split window campervan, they are so expensive nowadays. Nice memories are priceless mate. Thanks for viewing. ☘️👍

Hi Con, Dan here from St Ninians, hope you and the family are all well. I see your keeping yourself busy! Quality build on this transit mate. I also finally gave in and got myself a bike, on a 125 just now but its a blast! Maybe catch you out on the roads sometime. Take it easy!

Hey Dan, great to hear from you. Yes always busy over here, if it's not vans, it's house painting. This van was for a friend who is into cycling, he'll use it as his accommodation for cycling the West coast of Ireland. Glad you have a bike now, what make and model? Does Kirstin still have the Lambretta? Jane is heading back to Scotland tomorrow and I'll follow in a few weeks on the Honda. Maybe we could get a ride out organised some weekend. I still have you on WhatsApp. Take care mate and hope to meet up soon. Thanks for dropping by. 👍☘️

@@irishrover63 im to tall for platform bed then, i will build bench/bed, thanks! :)
@irishrover632 ай бұрын
Yes, the platform bed is limited to a person not taller than 5 foot 6 inches. If you look under my playlist you will see the pull out side bed that I made for my Vauxhall Vivaro, that would probably be best if you are taller. I assume that you are from Poland with your username. Good luck 🍀

That's an awesome job, Connell, really nice. Was wondering why it seemed to be a one-person set-up, but saw in the other comments that you built it for a friend. Wifey and I want to go down the van-life path, making plans and doing research, won't be for a while... maybe lol All the best mate!

Thanks Dave, I started work on it on January, but spent about 2 months back in Scotland, so only finished it last week. Van- life has grown so much in the last few years even on this platform. I have learned from so many clever guys out there, so if anyone can get some handy hints on their future build all the better. My friend is going to use this van mainly for cycling trips around Ireland. Thanks for dropping by mate and ride safe. 👍☘️

Cheers Neil, good to hear from you. I could have 6 vans lined up, but then I would have no time to ride my bike. Lol 😆 Painting a house at the moment. Never been busier. Hope you are well and enjoying your Triumph. 👍☘️

Wow! You have made a great job of the conversion! I wonder do you have plans for some kind of fridge or cooler box? Best Regards Ian

Thanks Ian, this build was for a friend. He has a cool box that can power from the 12v DC output or the 240v mains. Hope you are well Ian, thanks for dropping by. 👍☘️
