iriss mission launch day activities

ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen, commander Sergei Volkov and Aidyn Aimbetov prepare for their launch to the International Space Station at Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Pre-launch activities include door signing and a traditional blessing, before leaving the Cosmonaut Hotel for suiting up, pressure check and the bus ride to the launchpad, before boarding their spacecraft.
Mogensen, Volkov and Aimbetov launched to the ISS on 2 September at 06:37:43 CEST (04:37:43 UTC) from Baikonur cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.
During his 10-day mission to the International Space Station Andreas will test technology, new ways of running space missions and swap a spacecraft.

32 hours in space, and no new fotage. Gues TV coverage still, is not a priority in the russian space program...

+teamwrp Well, in my opinion, more time for the TV show - less time for the work. And what story you want while they approaching the ISS? Another one about the structure of "Soyuz"? 101th story on "How do we pee-pee and poo-poo in zero gravity"? To be honest, I want something new, the description of the experiments or something, but it is impossible right now, on the small ship. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the real spaceflight is not like in "Star Trek". Yes, today "Soyuz" performed evasive maneuvers, to avoid collision with old Japanese rocket debris. But even if the record showed - it would have been exactly like at the start: 3 mans sitting and staring intently at the screens. Translation would help them perform the maneuver? No. IMHO, it's better to do less colorful TV-show, but more interesting work, I agree read about it, it is not difficult.
