i think the hardest one was this british guy. just tryna capture the details on his uniform and his hat while still focusing on his face was a bit tough xD. he has such a long hat. my favorite is the russian :)

Sorry for the late reply david. yes i was givin tons of references. but the overall battle weary vibe and stylistic decisions were mostly my doing along with valuable input from Griffin Johnsen!
