@@maxxbear5014 yeah - just need to dial it in. I was getting aeration from the stock gas tank-air and vapor and vapor lock. i need to either buy a fuel cell with inline fuel pump or retrofit the stock tank with in tank pump.. (hint for upcoming video..lol). 😁

Don’t know but Maybe this could help… I’m unsure if you have your EFI set up “return style” or ‘returnless” but one of the main ways to prevent vapor lock is to run return style so unused fuel is constantly returned to the tank cooling the fuel off as opposed to sitting in the lines above the engine where it continues to heat up… another thought is because the air is much thinner may consider adjusting fuel on your handheld at higher altitude depending on what your AFR (air fuel ratio) gauge is reading at that particular elevation… just food for though I have 2 EFI systems and don’t think I’ll ever go back to a carb. Too enjoyable when they’re dialed in. Blessing GT

@ - hi. yes. it is return style. but i am running the stock gas tank. I have since rebuilt the tank so that i have some extra baffles and an in tank fuel pump to decrease the vaporlock and aeration… hopefully that helps.. I was suspecting adjusting the AFR, but decided not to mess with it cause I’m still not very familiar with the system. I need to test my new fuel system now… next video 😁👍

Ernie you may need to put a fan shroud on and a different fan that will move lots of air. That wont fix your vapor lock but could help if it moved more air. My M38 runs cooler with the home made shroud. I hope I have fixed my vapor lock with an elect fuel pump and a return line to the tank. You put out good videos and I hope to join yall at the TDR in 2025. 64cj5 e

What’s the best front and rear lockers for a 46 cj2a? Mostly driven on pavement. Will be wheeling in southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. Any ideas about smart trax?

@@dannydowell9979 Hi - we all use Powertrax lock right lockers in our flattys. easy to install. increases the fun meter 2 million percent.. haha
