Iron Empire EP 9 - CHOPPED & BAGGED! 56’ Dodge Kingsway Leadsled! & 2019 Bay To Birdwood Cruise

This time I show you around my long term project, The Doomsled!
My Adelaide, Australian build 1956 Dodge Kingsway Coronet.
Since buying the car, the headlights have been frenched, The suspension has been Air Bagged, the 230ci Flathead engine has been rebuilt, it’s been converted to 2 door and it’s had a roof chop!

Pretty neat. I’m glad to see your running a Kew motor. I have an original 61 Chrysler Royal but a few weeks ago I backed it through the shed doors. It’s going to be repaired. Mines a daily driver, original interior and paint. Now it’s getting a complete paint job. Keep up with the videos, I like them a lot. Wish I had your skills.

I have an equal kingsway. But in Sweden where I live. Is the model between 1953-1954. Here in Sweden, it is an extremely rare car and difficult to find parts for them. Like what you did with your kingsway, keep up the good work👌👍

Only time I've had a problem like that is when a cylinder has a slight leak. Makes the shoes stick when parked for a while. But they soon free up. Still a problem that should be sorted asap.

Bring Doomsled along to Billetproof this year, if it's on, would love to have a squiz. Have you got more Bay to Birdwood footage. Put some more up would be good. The FJ ute is from hear in Peterborough. I followed him home that evening. Keep up the great vids.

Love your old Mopar, I hope you will do more posts on future projects. It's nice to see cars that we don't have in the States . What motor are you running in there? It looks modern. I was at a car show in California and a guy had a 1950 Dodge set up like a dirt track car with a Aussie straight six in it. I was fascinated with it and spent a lot of time talking to the owner about the motor. I have to go back and watch the video about your Valiant VG. It looks like our 68-69 Dodge Darts.

over 10 years ago I was driving east along Grenfell rd between golden grove rd and the golden way, Modbury Heights, SA and I seen a car looking like this it had the number plates Doom, it didn't have the flames it was grey I thought it was a Mercury, I'm guessing it was this car?
