You are truly a lucky bastard. I genuinely didn't want it to suck like every one said it'd suck. Early on build up was pretty good for me, I liked the decisions they took in caring about "Am danny rand, where is my company" part of it it being so over the top everywhere for about 3 extra episodes even. But behind all that, at the core, was no substance :( nothing emotional for the actors to work with either. Hated that they acknowledged this in Defenders, and still only mention it like its some 4th wall breaking shit lol and then continue to do what they do anyway, which was make Danny Rand come across like some incompetent 4 year old. but, that they were able to move past it, and still bring him up and not ruin a show(luke season 2), means there is hope. and I don't mind it.

I tried to get into it, I mean seriously. But the fight scenes were just awful. I've seen better fight scenes in Xenia warrior princess. I've seen better fight scenes in Mortal Kombat the tv series. And it pissed me off because Power Man and Iron Fist was the 1st comic book I had ever read....I was 11yrs old and stole it out of a Woolworth in Ossining N.Y.. And when I turned old enough to get a job I spent all my money on comic books....and school clothes. It was so disappointing to me to see the garbage that Netflix sold me when DD, Punisher, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones looked so much superior.
