I'm bronze 1 (I've played like 1 ranked game in the last 2 months though), and the thing I struggle the most with is my lack of knowledge of the game in general (wave management, matchups, etc), and playing champs that require a team or require scaling to become useful, like Viktor in mid (I do much better with assassins like Diana/Akali, just 1v1ing the enemy mid in lane, roaming bot, help in some weird early fights, etc). The issue is not really mechanics, to me at least. You can just look up combo guides, go to practice tool, and play some matches till you're used to the champ, but you don't learn macro that easily or fast. But I don't play the hardest champs, so idk. For example, I don't play Yone, but I've seen people 1v9 with him, it's not that hard, people will walk up to him not knowing he can actually kill you.

Nasus in low elo is 1 v 9 change my mind. Even if you somehow deny him 50 cs in lane, you will still waste time, because that's how we play in pisslow and he can farm up, also games are often 35+ minutes so you have plenty of time, or he can just kill your bot lane and be fed.

Drututt why do you tell people to avoid all champions that are a little mechanically hard? silver and gold players arent bad they are average. I can see some characters like riven but the champs arent that hard so that the majority of the playerbase cant play them

Little tip if you enjoy playing Riven: pick her mid into melee assassins. Pesky bastards don't expect the lv1 one shot and all the "no you are not touching that minion without dying" that comes after that
