1984 was an awesome year for heavy metal! Iron Maiden released 'Powerslave'. Judas Priest released 'Defenders of the Faith', and Twisted Sister released 'Stay Hungry'. I got to to see all three bands play live, songs from those records that year at the Long Beach Arena. Those were great times.

Lyrics: Kill for gain or shoot to maim But we don't need a reason The golden goose is on the loose And never out of season Blackened pride still burns inside This shell of bloody treason Here's my gun for a barrel of fun For the love of living death The killer's breed or the demon's seed The glamour, the fortune, the pain Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain Don't you pray for my soul anymore 2 minutes to midnight The hands that threaten doom 2 minutes to midnight To kill the unborn in the womb The blind men shout, "Let the creatures out! We'll show the unbelievers" Napalm screams of human flames For a prime-time Belsen feast, yeah As the reasons for the carnage cut Their meat and lick the gravy We oil the jaws of the war machine And feed it with our babies The killer's breed or the demon's seed The glamour, the fortune, the pain Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain Don't you pray for my soul anymore 2 minutes to midnight The hands that threaten doom 2 minutes to midnight To kill the unborn in the womb The body bags and little rags Of children torn in two And the jellied brains of those who remain To put the finger right on you As the mad men play on words And make us all dance to their song To the tune of starving millions To make a better kind of gun The killer's breed or the demon's seed The glamour, the fortune, the pain Go to war again, blood is freedom's stain Don't you pray for my soul anymore 2 minutes to midnight The hands that threaten doom 2 minutes to midnight To kill the unborn in the womb Midnight Midnight Midnight It's all night Midnight Midnight Midnight It's all night Midnight, all night

In 1989 I had seven teachers in regards to such information. Sometime that same year I decided to watch some music videos and that is when I discovered how highly informed the band members of Iron Maiden were. Today I am still blown away as to how far ahead of the game they are in their knowledge. What should I expect of the absolute best intellectual metal band on Earth? 😉 I met Bruce on a Flight out of Ireland back when I was in the Army. Aces High!🥃🥃🥃🍻🎯

@@blunderbuss9984 I wish that I could say. I mean I was lucky that I saw him board the plain and heard him speak a few words because flight is a very serious thing. If I were to guess I would say that my experience then gave me the impression that he has an amazing capacity for focus and this shouldn’t be a surprise because it’s been quite apparent all these years. I would say that he’s also very sly and even to the point that the probability is within the 90% range that he’s reading my response at the very same time that you are.
