Well that's your opinion. Personally I'll take Priest over Maiden any day. British Steel, Defenders of the Faith, Stained Class, Sin After Sin and Sad Wings of Destiny are totally unrivaled metal classics. Maiden took a lot from Priest like the galloping riffs. They even lifted the Running Wild riff for Wicker Man! I like Maiden up to Brave New World. After that they got repetitive and boring. Same with Priest. The come back albums they made with Halford are rubbish. They were on the money up until Painkiller. Now they're just a cabaret act well passed their prime!

My favourite version of this song is one from 2007 at download festival. Bruce has such epic power in his voice in that version. The scream he does at the is incredible. I'm not saying he doesn't still have incredible power behind him, but you can hear age starting to play a factor with him. You can hear the high notes taking more effort from him. It's not surprising, the bloke is in his 60s and has had throat cancer. Non the less, he still sounds better than most singers half his age. He is a miracle of a man

Tenho 37 anos ! Ouço o iron maiden desde os meus 12 anos de idade por 15 anos de idade quase que todos os dias!!!! E toda vez que vejo uma apresentação dessa eu me emociono sempre! É claro que é o amor pela banda também, mas fico intrigado e feliz como com o passar dos anos eles parecem que não deixam o nível cair, pelo contrário parece que melhoram! Não me refiro a velocidade técnica das execuções, solos de guitarra ou viradas na bateria etc... refiro -me a qualidade técnica em si, à perceptiva perfeição sensorial das obras ao ouvi-las! Talvez esse o motivo pelo qual os olhos de milhões marejam quando vêem esses SENHORES no palco!
