Sammy boy!! Yeah when I show what I have , I know most people have the same albums which is why I kinda just breeze through them … it’s fun to see what other people have , I have more Maiden books ! Thanks Pawlie!! I got into maiden in 81, bought killers then the first one .. Amazon has a lot of Maiden Vinyl, eBay for the harder to find stuff and maybe local record stores … I’ve been building my collection for years!!! It’s still growing , I know there’s people out there with more then me ( which is fine lol) it’s not a competition lol. Just buy what you love .. thanks for watching and leaving a comment !! "Iron Maiden" was my first Maiden album. I bought it in 1982. My first was supposed to be "The Number of the Beast", but they had no more in stock. They did have the debut, so I took a chance, 'cuz the cover was so cool. I'm glad I did. It made me a lifelong fan. "Killers" is my all-time favourite.

I love Killers! 1 because the music and musicianship in great & 2 it was the first Maiden album I bought. Maiden is such a great band with so many great albums!

I had a collection of 300+ vinyls a few years ago, and recognise a lot of your collection, especially the Japanese pressings. Some really rare stuff. I sold most of it some years ago, but wish I still had it all 😂

Sabbath , Priest , Maiden….. I’ve been a maiden fan since 81… killers was the first album I bought. Number of the beast wasn’t out yet …. I never get sick of listening to them …. Sabbath , Priest , Maiden…. I’ll be buried with those albums lol 🤘🤘🤘

Can’t beat Maiden on vinyl, especially those Japanese pressings, ultra cool collection. My first was the 12” single Infinite dreams, got it the day it came out and had a super poster sleeve. Your suspicions are correct with TNOTB green and Killers marbled….they are boots.

I figured they were boots. Killers does t sound all that great , but the Beast sounds very good … yeah Maiden on vinyl is awesome … the remastered cds are great as well… their singles are cool as well… Maiden does it right. I wish Priest did it the way they do…

My parents had vinyl & my older siblings… I used to listen to their stuff. Then for Christmas one year my brother bought me Kiss Alive 1 & 2…my godmother bought me Kiss Hotter then Hell, my Sister bought me Beach Boys , Endless Summer… From there I started buying my own once I started working paper routes, deli ,stupid little jobs when you like 10 -11 yrs old … I haven’t stopped since lol.

@@augie3281 i hear that man 🤘😎I was born in 1983 and grew up in the 90s with some older siblings who got me into the old school stuff. I played music in that style as well until neck and spine problems unfortunately put a stop to it in 2014. I still have some of the CDS and even a few cassettes and vinyl that I've had since i was a kid. I have gone back and repurchased all the Iron Maiden cd's original pressings which i much prefer to those over compressed 1998 reissues🤢

Killers, Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind...perfection!!! Australia EMI had "Women in uniform" on the original "Killers" album. Such a great album. Still had a punk edge, before they went prog metal with Powerslave.

Hey man. If you bought Killers on 3/18/82, that’s just four days before The Number of the Beast was released on 3/22/82. So basically you got hip to Dianno-era Maiden when they had already moved on to Dickinson.

Yeah it was crazy. I remember buying Killers then going back to the record store a week later and Beast was out!! I saw Maiden open for Priest in ‘81. ( point of entry / killers tour) here in NY .. Dropping the needle down on Invaders ( side 1) blew my mind! I already knew Run To The Hills. ( video) but I didn’t know the rest of the album. It was and still is an Amazing album 🤘

@@augie3281 I hear you! I remember so clearly because I bought TNOTB on vinyl right when it had just been released. That's very cool that you saw Maiden with Dianno! Where at?? The Palladium here in NYC? I'm from NY too. I know they came back the next year, 1982, and opened for Priest again w/Dickinson for Screaming For Vengeance/TNOTB. I think the best Maiden is Killers! Dianno!!
