If I'm not mistaken the reason the auto-launcher fired at 33:30 during attract mode is because there is no coin door interlock switch on some Spike 2 Pro games. I only found this out myself when I picked up a Deadpool pro and noticed it didn't have the switch on the coin door to disable the 48v to the playfield. I called Stern and they confirmed some pro games did not ship with the interlock. The other coils on the playfield wouldn't fire during attract mode, that's why the slings and pops didn't work- But if a ball is registered in the shooter lane it should always try to kick it out with default code (Again, to the best of my knowledge!) Also, you might not need the capacitor for the shaker motor as Stern upgraded the Cabinet Node board to include the cap on it, But definitely double check! Thanks for another great video! :D

Thanks man appreciate it. I did finally learn that early runs of this machine did not in fact ship with the interlock switch. That was a new one for me. Also you are right about the capacitor kit. Doesn't appear that they are needed on 2018 machines!

Nice job Mike! I find these types of vids very therapeutic. Good storytelling, a nice clean up, and your calm voice are a good combo! Puts me in a serene place. Kind of the polar opposite of needing to "Run To The Hills" in a game of Maiden. I just sold my Avengers Pro.

That thing you found towards the end looks like one of those push/pull knobs found on a rotating pedestal fans. The fan that's got the plastic sheet over it looks like that knob is missing.

The reason for the auto launch firing is for whatever reason, Stern doesn't put the coin door interlock switch on some machines sometimes. Thought it was something that wasn't on pros, but my Batman 66 premium (2018 build) doesn't have one, nor a friends recent build of Elvira HoH doesn't either, though my 2019 build does have it
