I was 12 when I saw Maiden for the first time on the World Slavery Tour, got to see that one twice, great show great stage. I also saw the Somewhere in Time, Seventh Son, and No Prayer for the Dying tours. Seventh Son had the most unique Eddie I have ever seen. Ticket prices ranged from $15 for the Slavery Tour and if I remember correctly $20 or $25 for No Prayer for the Dying tour. I remember Bruce saying they were going back to basics for that tour, still a great show.

My favorite stage production of all time was back in 85 for the live after death show, which was the world slavery tour. I was 13 when I was introduced to that on VHS lol. Those were the days :-)

Iron Maiden - Killers and before: As far as I remember, seen them 4 times between 1980-1981, that Iron Maiden sign did indeed light up. My favourite stage production was Somewhere On Tour.... hands down!

The Legacy Tour production was just a spectacle that I am so thankful to have witnessed. The fact that I saw them in my hometown was just the cherry on top. I'm also looking to buy floor tickets for the Future Past Tour in Phoenix so fingers crossed that happens.

Hello from the UK-England/Britain/Nottingham....My first Maiden gig was at The Boat club in Nottingham,October 6th 1979..i was 18 years old.....September 29th 1984 a Saturday.I had to work that day,did not have a ticket for the gig.Around 2pm that day Bruce,Harry and Davey came into the shop i worked at looking for some stuff, after me basically kissing their arses for about 20 minutes they sussed i was a fan and i got two tickets-plus backstage passes-for the gig....i`ve never missed a UK gig since, been to shit-loads of multiple gigs in the UK and abroad and to this day,i`m a fan for life...My tally of live Rush gigs-here and abroad-is about 142-since Feb 1978,my Maiden gig tally is not far behind.

Somewhere in time for me. A killer drum riser, futuristic back drop , lighting was awesome and the stage attire was really cool. I’ve seen Maiden many times but this is the one that stuck out the most.

You are so lucky to have seen Maiden on several occasions, I only got to see them once in my country Costa Rica and it was on TBOS Tour. I hoped they would return on the next 2 tours but the production company that brought them stopped betting on them and other big names of the genre.

This was great. My first time seeing Maiden live was the Somewhere in Time Tour with Vinnie Vincent invasion opening up for them. I was 18 and my cousin bought the ticket for me as a late birthday present. Sadly, the only other time was the Book of Souls tour twice. They visited 2 towns in Oklahoma.

I have seeing Maiden on every tour since 2000 but I did not seeing them on the tour in 2005. My favourite stage set also was Somewhere back in time. Also A meter death or live tour. Also Dance of death also great. . Maiden England T world tour was also cool. I remember the intro for Brave new world tour @ Roskilde Festival gig was awesome with fireworks and then The Wicker man. The final frontier tour was also great stage set. The book of souls also great. The legacy of the beast also wow stage set.

Loved this video well done guys very cool... Seen almost all the tours from 1980 when ticket prices were £2, now I go with my grandson who had lots of questions after seeing the video... few of my best memories were "World Piece Tour" when they played hallowed be thy name Bruce had a lights beamed up from the floor that looked like prison bars when he sang the first part, the wow factor of the Powerslave set when you first got to see it as it was played in city halls that hold 2000 to 3000 fans... The surprise of the first blow up Eddie on the somewhere on tour, also the size and scale of the MOR at Donningtion in '88 and '92. The stripped back shows of 90's did work and I have a great time time my daughter to her first gig at the age of two and half as she was in love with Nikko after his time on the Sooty show... The history tours have been amazing and Tickenham in 2008 was the best!!!

I was lucky enough to see IM 2 of the 4 nights at Long Beach Arena 1985, including that Sunday night they filmed LAD. I Also witnessed the following 2 tours and more. I loved them all. But, I still think the 1985 world slavery tour was the crowning achievement in stage production. They were in peak performance and Rime of the ancient Mariner absolutely is my favorite live song they do. In 2003 I saw them again at Long Beach arena with Motorhead and DIO opening! Insane!!!!!!!!

December 10, 1984, Seattle: World Slavery Tour. My first concert ever. 15 years old. My ears were ringing for days...didn't know the concept of ear protection back then! Still have the ticket stub. $13.50 US. Indeed one of my favorite stage productions of theirs. I have to agree with you Capn about LOTB being the best. I won't comment on the other tours I've seen or haven't seen....I'd be typing all day! But I will mention that what I saw for the X-Factour was not what you showed in the video. Maybe that was because they were playing a very small club? No room for such staging in that venue. An incredible experience, even if Bruce and Adrian were not there.

Got to see Give Me Ed tour with Dio and Motörhead. The Stage show was incredible. I think with Brave New World the band was on fire, but I remember the lights were so good on that tour. Looking forward to the dates later this year as I haven’t seen the latest tour. The LED screens were a good touch yet also not over done. Great video as always! 🙏

I’ll just rank the tours I’ve seen: 1. Legacy of the Beast Tour - Amazing stage show, awesome props (the glowing cross, the plague doctor mask and lantern, the noose, chandeliers), amazing pyro, beautiful Eddies. 2. The Book of Souls Tour - something about this tour and stage show is close to my heart. The cauldron and flames during Eternity, the battle during The Book of Souls, the Eddie in the circle of light during Wasted Years. 3. Maiden England Tour - the second time I saw Maiden, they blew my balls off with those Eddies, the little moving fetus, the Clairvoyant Eddie writing with the flames on either side. 4. The Future Past Tour - amazing stage and set, but seeing this at PowerTrip I really couldn’t see much from the GA section. Absolutely could not see the two small stage screens at all 😢 I paid more attention to the music that time. Although the Hell On Earth pyro still looked amazing from miles away 🥲 5. The Final Frontier Tour - first time seeing Maiden. As a young’n I really didn’t pay attention to the stage or the Eddies. Looking back at photos the stage was really cool though.

When I saw the video for Running Free I was hooked for life. When Eddie hangs over Nicko, wow. I was just old enough to see Maiden on the 1990 tour. After watching LAD and ME videos as a kid I was a bit gutted that the big production was gone. However, the big Eddie breaking out of the coffin looked great! Looked a bit like the WST monster. I wish they'd move on from reusing the same old stage design though. Anything to get the guitarists using the ego ramps again would be amazing. Pretty sure Janick was the last to use the ego ramps back on 1999 during Wasted Years.

They all had something to offer, but I'm definitely not a fan of the stripped down look! I like the stage design, but I think they could add some interesting new elements to it. I think they did well adding the Senjutsu roof tiles to make it a bit different in 2022

good rankings. just: amolad stage was better looking than the pictures from that tour. there were many details, the stage was like a war movie set. the tank was very cool with moving palets. and as i remember there were two big military, like frontline lights, for bruce to turn and light up the audience. which was like a renewed idea of the early days where many eddie masked people lights up the audience. and at the time the band was looking great image-vice. at other times the choice of costumes sometimes lowered the magic of the show. like; somewhere back in time decor was great but i hate bruce's beanie and pants at that time.
