This video is one of the important milestones in my life. During the eighties, I was listening to pop music. But one day I saw this video on TV, and my mind was simply blown away, I had never witnessed anything this epic before. Next day, I went to the music store and bought 7th Son on cassette tape, and this was the beginning of my amazing metal adventure. So as an aging 47 year old metalhead, I thank to Maiden with all my heart for introducing me to the amazing world of metal!

Me and my pal were there ...both 18yrs old. Our family were past themselves knowing two poor souls had lost their lives. Luckily we made it. We got swept up in the GnR crowd but moved out. It was a good day but my heart is with the family of the two that didn't get home. I think about it to this day. I have my programme and ticket framed...two lads doing just what me and my mate were doing. Enjoying a great day. Thinking of you both. Rest in peace brothers.

"The Clairvoyant" Feel the sweat break on my brow Is it me or is it shadows that are Dancing on the walls. Is this dream or is it now Is this a vision or normality I see Before my eyes. I wonder why I wonder how That it seems the powers getting stronger Every day I feel a strength an inner fire But I'm scared I won't be able to control it anymore There's a time to live and a time to die When it's time to meet the maker There's time to live but isn't it strange That as soon as you're born you're dying. Just by looking through your eyes He could see the future penetrating right In through your mind See the truth and see your lies But for all his power couldn't foresee his own demise There's time to live and time to die When it's time to meet the maker There's time to live but isn't it strange That as soon as you're born you're dying... ...and reborn again??

I saw this Video in Headbangers Ball at i was 13. At this time i decided to go to Donington asap. Tried it 1991, but our car had a damage thru the Journey, so we missed AC/DC (my all time favourite Band). But 1 Year later we traveled all the way from Germany to Donington. 5 young Germans with 80.000 young british People and we all loved Maiden and the 'Support' Bands. What a Show of Skid Row, Slayer, WASP and Thunder. It was a Dream and it still is. I will never forget the Moshpit when Slayer starts with Hell Awaits. Dream came thru.

Steve Harris is just the sickest rock bass player alive next to Geddy Lee. How the man plays like he does the way he does is nothing short of amazing. The greatness of a Maiden song is how it jumps from slow to fast to slow to galloping speed once again. Maiden is the only band I've ever heard that does this and does it so well on a consistent basis.
