Iron Maiden - The Evil That Men Do (Adrian Smith's Part)

Have to love Adrian's approach to these classics. I heard his isolated guitar part from some live footage and had to share it. I love Maiden as a complete band but I'm always focussed on what Adrian and Steve are doing. I used Amplitube 4 to make the guitar tone. If there's other Maiden tracks you want to hear Adrian's isolated parts for please let me know. The guitar is a modified Jackson SDX and I don't have any tabs sorry.

Love Adrian’s work on Seventh Son. In the first solo of Only the Good Die Young, about a minute and a half into the song he plays this twisted, descending chromatic lick that just fucks me up everytime I hear it.

@@JFRiley I bought mine second hand for 260£, had some mods done to it (replacing pickups and routing to change the neck pup from single coil to humbucker, in hindsight I should have just put hot rails there), it really is a fantastic guitar, very comfortable neck and sounds great , feels solid and well made and looks the part

O si esto no se pudiera ¿se podría realizar un hueco en el golpeador para poder acceder al alma? Porque según viene de fábrica solamente se puede acceder al alma quitando las cuerdas y separando el mástil del cuerpo ¿no? . Saludos

Just showed up in my feed , Cracking first class cover . A lot of nuances expressed in your playing Mr Chopper top of the class again . Great job overall, but you're playing a mix of Adrian's and Dave's parts here. In the chorus, Adrian plays the higher register melody, the voice you played here is Dave's. For confirmation of this, just watch the Maiden England version with headphones on, Adrian's guitar is on the right side of the mix (all Maiden's live albums in the 80s where mixed as if you'd be watching them on stage from the perspective of the audience). You can see in the chorus on the video (and hear it on the right side of audio mix).

Hey man, I only got money to buy one guitar software, bias or amplitude, which would you recommend? Im primarily interested in replicating guitar tones similar to the way you did for many of your covers, but when it comes to bias I'm slightly concerned about its clean tones being very thin from what I've seen.
