You know, on this side of the Infinity Saga, I appreciate and like this movie more on re-watch than I did when I first saw it. It set the MCU M.O. for the second movie in each franchise to be a "quieter" more personal piece. It's a really good movie that has aged well.

Actually, ∆ is used for numerical changes in chemistry and physics equations. So "∆c" is a change in concentration (during a chemical reaction) and "∆v" is a change in velocity, for example. But these are only used in numerical equations to describe numerical changes. For chemical reactions you just write "A + B --> C + D" No ∆ involved here.

Alternative to the idea that Tony's arc reactor is similar to the Infinity stones and is thus unaffected by the Mind stone, I would say that every person who was taken over by Loki was touched through a thin layer of clothing. Perhaps the thickness and the fact that it's metal makes Tony's chest impervious to the Mind stone.
