I'm a little surprised you didn't mention that earlier versions of the armor were controlled by his tongue pressing buttons on the face plate's interior.
@robinthrush96728 жыл бұрын
Also, more please. Would this series of videos, if continued, also explore character evolutions through the decades? Like how Thor used to be a transformation of a physical host to the actual Thor and now both or how Wolverine's been treated pre-adamantium loss, adamantium free, and the supercharging of his healing after getting it back?

My uncle gave me a lot of his old comics. My first Iron Man comic was Issue 235 from 1988. The Model 09 has a special place in my heart because of that. My first exposure to Iron Man was the cartoon movie, which used the Extremis Armor. I also really like the Bleeding Edge armor.

Great video, Rob. I love stuff like this. It reminds me of these Marvel Universe trading cards made in the early 90's that broke down the elements of superheroes weapons, e.g., Wolverine's claws, Spider-Man's web shooters, Thor's hammer, Mandarin's rings, Doc Oc's arms, etc.

@ErrolJones14158 жыл бұрын
+Tom Woodley-Marshall Agreed, though I have to call bullshit on both its calculative and self destructive capabilities. Even factoring in how OP Stark's scientific and technological prowess is in general, how is a suit's operating system (made on earth, during the 20th century, using 20th century software/hardware programming) capable of rendering possible logical results of an infinite amount of occurences possible in the 616 universe? Particularly when that operating system is not guaranteed to have any data on any number of variables Stark and/or the suit have never encountered?? Secondly, where does the Mark X have this magical ordinance that makes low-yield nuclear warheads look like TNT?? And how does an amount that apparently small have such yield to obliterate vessels that travel intergalactically?!
@journey85338 жыл бұрын
+Errol Jones how about absorbing nuclear explosions? Comic characters were too op and relied on "ugly" cliches too often. It's getting better nowadays

The Model 3 - the Preclassic Armor was from TOS 59-65. The Model 4 - the Classic Armor started in TOS 66. I would agree that all the armors were pretty close from TOS 53-65, but the Model 3 - Preclassic armor in 59-65 was also called the Rivet armor because it outlined the helmet with rivets. In TOS 66, there were no more rivets showing on the helmet.
