The Mark 4 is so underrated in terms of looks. Look at that beautiful bastard lol. Looks equal parts death machine and action figure. The scene where Tony is drunk in the suit makes the suit look so real and tangible.

Exactly!!! When you say “iron man” this suit is the first thing that comes to mind! It’s literally the perfect looking suit that encapsulates everything about the hero imo! Though the mark 45 is my favourite in terms of functions and capabilities, this is by far, my favourite suit in terms of looks lol

This suit was so important as It was the longest serving suit till the mark 6 since mark 1 and 2 were used once and mark 3 was used for a couple weeks i guess to destroy his old weapons

I prefer Iron Man Mark 4 and Mark 6 armor because they are favorite. They're similar as the armored Adventures.

Iron Man mark 4 has gold on his arms and legs, and it's also red it has a circle on his chest. And Iron Man Mark 6 has silver and gold on arms and legs, and it has a triangle on his chest. So they're both the same.

You're absolutely right, this suit is everything Iron Man. The looks, the color palate, the servos sounding off with every movement, this suit has/had it all! Having him test/spar with Rhodey in the Mk II was just icing on the cake

@@obscuremcu They really did, the suits were very grounded and you could see every mechanized effort in the movements. Something not seen since Stark's fight against Cap and the Winter Soldier

I don't blame you lmao, among tonys older suits the mark 4 is always overlooked ( and to be fair, suits like the mark 2, 5, 6, and 7 are more iconic) but what makes me love the mark 4 personally is the fact that it's so normal looking lol, when someone says "iron man" this suit is the first armor that comes to mind, because its literally the perfect representation of what iron man would look like, that's why I say is the quintessential iron man suit in the video 😅

My favourite is the Mk6! It’s essentially the same suit with some minor cosmetic changes and the majorly polarising delta on the chest, which I personally always loved.

I gotta admit, the triangle arc reactor chest plate was really growing on me, but they reverted to the circle almost immediately 😂 and thats true lol the mark 4 & 6 are near identical if not for the inclusion of some silver panels

@@obscuremcu yeah it was reversed because the director of Avengers 1 hated the triangle actually 😂. He openly voiced his opinion against it and made sure there would be a round arch reactor for the climax of the film. I also really like the Mk6 because the gold sections are more prominent like they are in the comic design. I believe the only other MCU suit that echos the comic book design scheme is the Mk85? Which happens to be my second favourite; Mk46 being my third favourite. If I had to pick a least favourite, I think I’d say the Mk42 because it looks like a caffeine free Diet Coke can 😂

@@sidequest_studio oh wow that’s actually pretty funny 🤣 too bad though, one of iron mans most recognizable looks from the comics is the extremis armor with the triangle arc reactor, I wonder how different the suits in phase 2 and 3 would be if they stuck with that look! And great choices btw, the mark 46 and 85 are definitely some of the best looking suits in the mcu 🔥 and lol I know what you mean about the mark 42 🤣 I’m really happy they inverted the reds and golds on the mark 43! That suits designs was too good to be wasted on a diet coke can’s color scheme LOL
